Mobile home for sale on Praires du Lac in the Vendee region of France.
We have owned and loved our mobile home since new (October 2001) and it has been well looked after and maintained.
There is a 7.5m decking, of which 6m is covered on all sides; these can be drawn back should you wish. On the decking is a washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge, freezer, sink (fully plumbed in), storage cupboards and a table and chairs. There's even a large George Forman grill with a stand.
There is a fully equipped kitchen with a full size cooker, under counter fridge and cupboards. Both the kitchen and lounge area benefit from laminate flooring.
Inside the mobile home there is an end lounge with wraparound seating (in the centre is a comfortable pull-out double bed). There is also a TV, Sky box with Freeview card, a video player and a small music centre. On the other end of the lounge is the dining table with wraparound seating and 2 stools. Both of the seating areas have been professionally re-upholstered, also all the curtains have recently been changed.
In the rear of the mobile home are 3 bedrooms; a master with a double bed, wardrobes and a dressing table and two twin bedrooms each with two single beds. The bed in one of the twin rooms is on a hinge system, which neatly folds up to allow access for a cot or just to allow a single occupant more room.
There are 2 hall cupboards, one housing the water heater, which is gas fed and annually serviced. The other is shelved for storage.
There is also a bathroom with WC, sink and a shower cubicle.
All of this is sited on a plot of just under 200m2.

About the Area
Praires du Lac is a lovely site in the heart of the countryside, yet only a short drive from the coast or other attractions in the Vendee.The site has 2 swimming pools, one being heated and covered, a games area for children and a bar serving drinks and food. The manager organises some wonderful evening entertainment and some of the owners have put together a band and put on quite a show 2 or 3 times a season. There's also a kiddies play area.
Praires du Lac is situated on the outskirts of Apremont on the road to Marche. Apremont boasts a beautiful chateau and a huge lake on the dammed River Vie. The lake has a beach area with a swimming section and lots of different water sports and fishing, along with bars and cafés by the lake to enjoy lunch or dinner.
The beautiful Vendee coast is approximately 20 minutes away with a host of activities and miles upon miles of golden sandy beaches. Slightly further afield (but under an hour's drive) is the island of Noirmoutier; drive to it across the Passage du Gos (only accessible at low tide).
There's also the towns of Pornic, Sables, Nantes and Roche-sur-Yon, the capital of Vendee.
The Vendee also hosts the unmissable theme park of Pay-du-Fou.
Additional Information
There is a fee of 16% of the sale fee to be paid to the campsite by the new owners for all private sales. I've been told by the Manager that this is for the campsite to guarantee the mobile home - I think that this can be negotiated with Michel the Manager.
