Brittany is situated in the North West of France and borders the English Channel and is best known for its beaches and green countryside. You can get there by plane, but a lot of people decide to travel by car and ferry, usually to the most popular dock of St. Malo. The North and West coast are quite rocky, with sandy coves and beaches, whereas the South coast is much flatter and milder with large sandy beaches. 

Dordogne can be referred to a warmer and sunnier version of the English cotswolds, with a return to rural life at a slow pace.  It is full of yellow-stoned buildings and is made up of numerous old villages, castles and small country towns. Dordogne is the perfect place for a relaxing holiday away from beach goers, as it isn't on a coast. 

Languedoc - Roussillon is the southermost part of France and in 2016 was merged with the neighbouring area of Midi-Pyrénées to create a super region named 'Occitanie'.  It is popular for its  largely unspoilt countryside, traditional wine-making villages and slower, Mediterranean pace of life.  

Normandy with a long, beautiful stretch of coastline steeped in history is a long-time favourite place to travel by holidaymakers.

Cote d'Azur is often known as the French Riviera in English, and is on the Mediterranean coastline in the Southeast corner of France.  Due to it's location it experiences sunny, hot and dry summers and mild winters, the perfect escape from the UK's freezing winters and average washout summers. 

As you travel down the West of France, you will encounter grand countryside, sandy beaches, vineyards and salt marshes.  You will find a number of hidden castles, manor houses and lodges to offer beautiful sight seeing.  We have privately owned mobile homes to let on the west coast of France including Poitou Charantes and Vendee regions.
