Caravan Description

Our mobile home for hire in Saint-Jean-de-Monts on the west coast of France, is situated opposite a large grassed area, known as the Green, on Les Amiaux; a 4 Star holiday park.

It is quiet and safe area for children to play while you sit outside the mobile home enjoying a nice cold glass of wine.

The long, galley-style kitchen is well equipped and includes a gas hob/oven and microwave oven, plus all pots, pans, crockery and cutlery – in fact, everything you could need. There is a large fridge freezer, to keep your wine/beer on those long hot days. There is also an iron and ironing board for your use, should you need it.

The lounge area has plenty of seating and cushions, along with a flat screen TV with Sky Freeview. The dining area has bench seating, plus 2 fold-up chairs.
There is a blow up double bed and pump under the seating in the front room, should this be needed.

The bathroom has a shower with a base that doubles as a small bath for young children, along with a wash basin. The toilet is separate .

The first of the two bedrooms has a double bed, fitted wardrobe, cupboards and shelves. The second bedroom has 2 single beds, a fitted wardrobe and shelves.

Duvets, pillows and protectors are provided. You will need to provide your own bed linen though (sheets, pillow cases, duvet cover). You will also need to provide your own towels and tea towels.

Outside there are 2 sun loungers, a table and four chairs, along with a parasol, washing airer and a BBQ for those days you want to eat outside. There is also room to park your car at the side of the caravan or in front of it.

Location

Les Amiaux a 4 Star holiday park with an outside pool and children's pool, along with an indoor pool and a pool with slides. Also on site you will also find a licenced bar with entertainment in season (plus internet access), a restaurant, takeaway, mini supermarket, launderette, tennis courts, football/basketball court, table tennis and plenty of children's play areas. There’s also plenty of shower and toilet blocks dotted around the site.

At Reception they speak English. Here you can buy Wi-Fi, hire bikes and get laundry tokens.

Out & About

There are plenty of supermarkets in the area, including a Super U, Intermarche and Lidl, all about 10 minutes away. There are lots of beaches around too, with direct access from the site, through a narrow forest and sand dunes - about a 10 minute walk.

Les Amiaux is between Saint-Jean-de-Monts and Notre-Dame-de-Monts, with plenty of bars and restaurants in and around the area. In peak season there are lots of activities on the beach at Saint-Jean-de-Monts, which is also very lively at night and offers lots of things to do, from clubs to a casino and plenty of places to eat or drink.

The area is full of bike tracks and walking tracks.
