About the Area
Domaine du Launay in Brittany, is a tranquil, well equipped site, offering plenty of things to do and many facilities for you to make use of and enjoy. These include: 2 heated pools (indoor and outdoor); bar/restaurant with some evening entertainment; a well-equipped children's play area, including a trampoline; a dog park; and 3km of easy (mostly shaded) walks around the perimeter. The campsite is situated on the outskirts of the village of Plouézec - just 2.5 km or around 30 minutes walk - which has several bars and restaurants, pharmacy and shops.
The larger pretty seaside town of Paimpol has supermarkets, shops, bars and more restaurants and is about a 5 minute drive.
Also the town of Plouha is about 10 mins drive and also has several bars, restaurants, shops, banks and supermarket.
There are may beautiful beaches and places of interest within a short drive of the campsite. The pink granite coast with its beautiful beaches are within half an hour and the lovely Mont St Michel is around an hour and a half and well worth a visit.
