We have a luxurious French static caravan holiday home for rent on Camping le Deffay near Pontchateau in Loire Atlantique, France.

Caravan Description
Set in the beautiful grounds of Chateau le Deffay near Pontchateau, our very comfortable home from home on Camping le Deffay, has recently been refurbished to a very high standard.
There is a large master bedroom with king size bed (something you very rarely find in French statics), along with a second bedroom with a full-size single bed. There’s also a sofa bed in the lounge area, which opens into a very large single (4') wide.
All rooms have been refurbished to a high standard, including the kitchen, which is fully equipped with a large fridge/freezer, a separate beer fridge, washing machine, gas hob, microwave and air fryer. The kitchen is also fully fitted with all small appliances, plus ample crockery, cutlery etc. - everything you could wish for in a home from home property.
The newly refurbished bathroom has a walk-in shower, toilet and wash basin.
The lounge seats 4 people on 2 sofas (one of which is the sofa bed). There is TV with built-in DVD/CD player, electric wall heaters and an electric fire. The gas serves the hob and hot water.
Outside, we have a lovely eating/relaxing area on the decking overlooking the lake, complete with comfortable outdoor dining furniture. Apart from the on site restaurant, there is a French restaurant just a 10 minute walk away, where you can get a 3 course lunch for around 17 euros.
Our static holiday home on Camping le Deffay is set on a lovely private pitch with ample space. There are a lot of English people who have holiday homes on the site, so there is no shortage of people to meet up with in the bar and chat to.
Dates available for 2025 are offered on a weekly basis from Saturday to Saturday (minimum 1 week) – see ‘Price & Availability’ above.

About the Area
Camping le Deffay is set in the grounds of Chateau le Deffay near Pontchateau. If you love a more peaceful holiday, yet still wish to be very close to towns and beaches, this is the perfect place for you.For more information on the actual campsite, sitting in the grounds of Chateau le Deffay, visit Camping le Deffay’s website. Here you will see all that the site and area has to offer, not to mention the lovely outdoor swimming pool.
There is also a French restaurant and bar on site and so much to enjoy in and around the area. The new owners of the site have introduced entertainment on most evenings in the summer season. Look out for the board outside the office for information on this. You can order daily baguettes and croissants also from the office, where you will also find a shop selling the essentials. There is a lovely large open air swimming pool on site which is situated next to the bar and restaurant. Also on site is a fishing lake, open air keep fit equipment, bouncy castle, trampoline and other child activities, including a craft hut for the smaller children.
There are so many beautiful towns and villages to visit near the camp site. Lots of beautiful beaches within a 35-40 minute drive, not to mention the famous La Baule beach, one of the most beautiful beaches you will ever see, and the beautiful Harbour town of La Turballe.
