Caravan Description
Bay View is a comfortable and well-equipped caravan located in Primrose Valley Holiday Park, just behind the main Haven complex.
This pet-friendly holiday home offers a relaxing stay with a stunning sea view from the patio and decking area. The outdoor space includes a decking area with seating for four, as well as two additional chairs stored under the bed for indoor or outdoor use, complete with cushions. There is also a patio area at the rear, which is suitable for BBQs, although BBQs are not permitted on the decking.
Inside, the lounge features a Smart TV with unlimited Wi-Fi and Disney+, along with a selection of books and games for guests to enjoy.
The fully equipped kitchen includes a gas oven and hob, a microwave, and a range of cooking utensils, providing the flexibility to prepare meals, reheat food, or order a takeaway. Guests can choose to have meals delivered to the caravan, pick them up from security, or dine at one of the on-site or off-site restaurants.
The caravan accommodates up to six guests across three bedrooms, consisting of one double room and two twin-bedded rooms. There is no sofa bed available.
The main bathroom includes a shower, wash basin, and toilet, while a second toilet is equipped with a hand basin. Bedding is provided, but guests must bring their own towels.
One small, well-behaved dog is allowed. If guests permit their dog on the settee, they must bring a blanket. Dogs are not allowed on the beds, and any damage must be repaired or items replaced. Any accidents must be cleaned thoroughly to prevent lingering odors.
For accessibility, the caravan has four shallower-than-normal steps leading to the entrance, with outside lighting for safety. There is designated parking at the front of the caravan under a streetlight.
Towels are not supplied.
House Rules
Family groups are welcome. The caravan is strictly non-smoking, and guests must not leave cigarette butts around the property. Bachelor and hen parties are not permitted. Charging of electric vehicles is not allowed. One small, well-behaved dog is allowed, but owners must bring a blanket if allowing their pet on the settee. Dogs are not permitted on the beds, and any damage must be repaired or items replaced. Any accidents must be cleaned to ensure no odors remain.
Further details may be required to complete the holiday park registration, which allows access through security gates and enables guests to purchase Play Passes and book activities online.

About the Area
Bay View is our family holiday home, designed for comfort and relaxation. It is located on Bay View behind the main complex in this flagship Haven Holiday Park, offering a beautiful sea view from the patio and decking area.The main complex is less than a five-minute walk away, featuring food outlets, Reception, entertainment venues, and the first swimming pool. Further back along the main entrance, guests will find an outdoor, unsupervised, gated play area and the Lakeside Complex, which offers additional pools, including an outdoor one, as well as a variety of bookable activities for all ages.
Access to the swimming pools, activities, and live entertainment at the Live Lounge and Show Bar requires Haven Play Passes. Once a booking is confirmed, guests will be registered with Haven and will receive an email containing links for the Car Pass, online restaurant and takeaway bookings, Play Pass purchases, and activity and entertainment reservations. Play Passes are not included in the caravan price and must be purchased directly from Haven, either online or at Reception upon arrival.
The beach is accessible via two clearly marked paths at each end of the park. Before heading to the beach or walking to Filey, which takes approximately 20 minutes, guests should check the tide times, which are posted on the fence at the Filey end of the park. Filey Lifeboat Station is located on Cobble Landing, near the town.
The caravan is ideally situated for both peaceful getaways and exploring the surrounding areas. Regular bus services run from the main complex to Scarborough and Bridlington, and train stations are located nearby. For those wishing to venture further, the historic city of York is approximately an hour away. Other attractions include the North Yorkshire Steam Railway, known for its appearance in Harry Potter, as well as Whitby, famous for its connections to Dracula and as a filming location for Heartbeat and The Royal. Guests will receive an email with recommendations for local activities, including pay-per-swim sessions at Bridlington Leisure Centre.
Guests can access the park upon arrival, with food outlets, the beach, and the arcade available without a pass. Check-in to the caravan is from 4:00 PM, and check-out is by 10:00 AM.
