Caravan Description
We have a spacious 10m x 4m (40m2) Bora Bora type mobile home to let on a large, sunny plot (280m2) on the very popular, 4 Star Les Charmettes in Les Mathes near Royan.
It is on a quiet and spacious plot just 80m from the swimming complex.
The mobile home benefits from having an air conditioning system, covered and closed terrace of 6*2,5m, 2 twin bedded rooms and 1 double bedroom with dressing table, plus a double sofa bed in the lounge.
A cot and highchair can be provided should they be required.
It is fully equipped and includes a 32" flat screen TV with UK and french channels, CD/radio, fridge freezer, microwave, gas hob and oven, electric oven, a beater, toaster, dishwasher (12 table settings), washing machine (5.5kg) and a vacuum cleaner.
We also provide a hairdryer, board games, a first aid kit and maintenance products.
Outside we have a covered and closed terrace with table and 8 chairs, an outside terrace 20m2, a parasol, 5 sun loungers, a griddle gas. We also have 3 adult bikes (men and woman) and 4 children's bikes for your use.
Duvets and pillows are provided for 8, with the slip covers changed for every rental.
Fun Passes to access to the entertainment complex are not provided, but can be purchased upon arrival. However, as a special offer if 2 consecutive weeks are booked during July and august we will include 2 adult fun passes (valid for the 15 days or more if you reserve 3 or4 weeks).
Bookings & Conditions
No smoking is allowed in our mobile home.
Our animal friends can be accepted, but please ask me first.
All bookings are established with a contract.
A deposit of 30% (15% if 15 consecutive days booked) of the price is required upon booking. The balance must be paid in full 15 days before the date of arrival.
A security deposit 300 Euro will also be required in cash, which will be returned if everything is found to be ok.

About the Area
The site itself is the excellent 4 star Siblu flagship site Les Charmettes, which boasts a fantastic pool complex, complete with indoor pool, 2 outdoor pools, water chute, 4 lane water slide, baby pool and water playstation.Other amenities on park include table tennis, petanque, the fitness trail and (at a charge) tennis, mini golf, archery, pool tables and cycle hire. There is a well stocked shop, bars, restaurant, pizzeria and takeaway on site with many more restaurants nearby in La Palmyre, Arvert and La Tremblade.
Local Places of Interest
There are three main beaches near to the site; La Palmyre is a family friendly beach with calm water and sandy beaches. Further along is Saint Palais-sur-Mer which boasts miles of sandy beaches, great for sand castles and boogy boarding, and in the other direction you have The Cote Sauvage, a paradise for surfers - beware of very strong currents!!!!
The zoo at La Palmyre is an award winner and a fantastic day out for all the family no matter what their age.
Royan is about a twenty minute drive and has an impressive marina, constructed in 1965. Enlarged in 1983 it has recently encroached on the beach and has been enlarged again. Espace Nautique, situated in the yachting marina offers numerous activities for children, young people and adults. You can take a boat trip from Royan during the day or evening, or if it takes your fancy, boat hire is available too.
Luna Park is just minutes from the site. It's only open in July and August from 8pm until midnight, but is all the fun of the fair. A little further down the road you can find the Indian Adventure - tree climbing with a difference and suitable for children aged about 5-6 years (depending on height) to adults, but they do have a bouncy castle area for younger brothers and sisters.
