ABOUT S1 HOLIDAY HOME

Situated on the family-run Penrhyn Hall Caravan Park which retains its five star rating from Visit Wales; this is a welcoming, traditionally styled and well-presented limited edition Willerby holiday home cleaned and maintained to a high standard.

Offering accommodation to a maximum of four guests over two bedrooms, S1 is sited on a semi-private pitch with conifer screening to its right hand side and rear and a view over open space.

Access to the caravan is via ramp and the lack of steps and easy side parking makes it ideal for those who are less mobile.

Double glazed and heated by Calor gas central heating, there is also a gas fire in the lounge, and a portable eco-electric heater. An electric cooling fan is also provided for your comfort. Reasonable* use of gas, electric and water is included in the hire cost.

For your safety, all gas appliances in S1 are serviced annually and a gas safety certificate (‘CP12’) is issued. As well as ceiling mounted smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, there is an annually tested fire extinguisher next to the cooker. This is a non-smoking holiday home.

All windows have voiles or blinds and curtains for privacy and protection from the sun.

Good quality and professionally laundered bed linens, including mattress and pillow protectors are provided for your comfort, although you will need to fetch your own hand, bath and tea towels.

Cleaning materials, cloths and a cordless vacuum are provided for convenience, and in line with Visit Wales recommendations, during your stay.

A thorough clean is carried out using medical grade sanitiser on all hard and soft surfaces (certified to British Standards EN 1276 / 14476 as effective against bacteria and enveloped viruses such as coronaviruses) between every stay. This sanitiser also provides up to eight days of residual protection on surfaces.

As always, our linens are cleaned at 60 degrees plus and with the use of laundry cleanser tested as effective against viruses such as coronaviruses and H1N1. Antibacterial liquid cleaners and hand wash are also provided for use and peace of mind during your stay.

S1 has its own WiFi so you can connect directly to the web with your smartphone/devices.

The location of the site offers easy access to the A55 for visiting Anglesey or Chester and any number of towns and attractions in between, as well as to the A470 for travelling into Snowdonia National Park. A small selection of tourist information brochures are available in S1 for your reference.

The Welsh Mountain Zoo is just outside of Colwyn Bay and you pass Bodafon Farm Park on the left as you enter into Llandudno from Penrhyn Bay. If you prefer to watch wildlife from a distance, there are local nature reserves such as Conwy RSPB Nature Reserve or Bryn Euryn in Colwyn Bay. Part of the Little Orme is also overseen as a reserve by the North Wales Wildlife Trust.

Golfing is available in the area and the Biking Conwy initiative provides a range of maps and graded trail information for cycling and mountain within the county.
