Lodge Description

The lodge is a 2010 model, sleeping up to 4 persons. This can extend to 6 persons using the double futon fold-out bed in main lounge.

Our lodge for hire on Golden Sands Holiday Park, measures 40ft x 20ft and is built to residential specification, with a condensing combi boiler, full central heating and double glazing.

FREE Wi-Fi is available in the Lodge.


The accommodation is as follows:

Lounge/Dining Area
Sliding patio doors, two 2-seater sofas, single armchair, dining table with 4 high back chairs and a 42” Freeview Smart TV. If you have an Amazon TV Firestick, just bring it with you and plug into the TV for your own subscriptions.

Kitchen
High line cooker station with oven/grill, stainless steel gas hob with 5 burners, full size fridge freezer, washing machine, microwave and dishwasher.

Bedroom 1
King size bed, walk-in wardrobe with hanging rails and drawers, 40" Freeview TV and an en-suite consists of a quad shower cubicle with thermostatic shower and porcelain sanitary ware.

Bedroom 2
Twin 3ft wide single beds, walk-in wardrobe with hanging rails and drawers, bedside cupboard and a 32” Freeview TV. In the wardrobe is stored the double sized futon fold-up bed for use in the lounge/dining area when more than 4 persons stay in the lodge.

Family Bathroom
Bath with overhead thermostatic shower, porcelain sanitary ware.

Outside
Large, substantial decking area with six bistro chairs and a small table provided. There is also a large, grassed area to side and parking for two cars directly in front of the Lodge.

This is 20ft wide Lodge. Most caravans on site are 12ft or 14ft wide. The Loade also has its own parking for 2 vehicles and a large, grassed area to the side.

Within the lodge we provide a full range of crockery, cutlery, mugs, a kettle, iron, toaster and vacuum cleaner. Gas and electric are also included in the cost of your holiday.

2 king size duvets, 2 single duvets and 6 pillows are provided. Fresh linen is also provided for full week bookings for the two bedrooms. If more than 4 persons are staying, please bring linen for the extra persons. Also, in the walk-in wardrobe in bedroom 2 are two sleeping bags for use if preferred.

Max occupancy is 6 persons for insurance and holiday park regulations.


Dogs

No more than 2 well-behaved dogs are allowed. However, they MUST be house trained and not on list of dangerous dogs. DO NOT BOOK without first contacting us to discuss your breed of dog to determine whether they will be allowed on site. In addition to the advertised price, a cost of £15 per day, per dog, will be payable.


ELECTRIC CAR (EV) CHARGING

There are NO charging facilities on site. DO NOT plug into the lodge electrics. Anyone found doing so, will be in breach of Site rules and will be billed for electric used and asked to leave site.



GOLDEN SANDS HOLIDAY PARK MUST BE FOLLOWED AT ALL TIMES

All private rental guests MUST be registered by completing a Holiday Hire Registration form. The owner will fill out the form upon full payment and email it to you before your arrival. You need to show this form at reception when collecting the keys, and pay the registration fee, which is not included in the Lodge hire cost. The registration fee is also referred to as ‘Passes’. Registration fees, including passes, are required by the Park owners (Away Resorts), regardless of whether site facilities are utilized. The current fee is £120 for a family pass for a full week during peak season (2 adults + 2 children). Any additional members in the group incur extra charges.

To ensure a safe holiday, you MUST always adhere to Site Rules RELEVANT AT THE TIME OF YOUR STAY. If you do not adhere to these rules, you will be instructed to leave the Lodge and site. In this case there will be no refunds given and your security bond deposit will be lost.

Any social distancing rules in place at time of your stay MUST be followed and will apply to the use of facilities.

As long as the Park is open, no refunds given on deposits if you decide to cancel holiday, this is to cover our own costs of re-advertising and contract obligations to cleaners. If, however, the Holiday Park is closed for any reason, a full refund will be given.

Please view Golden Sands website for rule changes and the availability of facilities. No guarantees are given as to what facilities will be available to use at the time of your stay. The swimming pool must be booked and there is now an online booking procedure available up to 21 days before. Details will be provided for this upon full payment of your holiday.


**Please Note: ALL late July and August bookings are from Saturday to Saturday only. We will not split into weekends or midweek.
