Welcome, you have found our fabulous 2019 centrally heated & double glazed holiday caravan on Home Farm Holiday Centre at St Audries Bay, found between the Quantock Hills & the sea in Somerset.

Our holiday caravan is a wonderful well kept 36’ x 12’ Regal Lulworth model.

It is fully equipped and sleeps four, in two bedrooms; one double and one twin. The double bedroom has a king size bed, large wardrobes and storage areas, along with the added benefit of its own en-suite WC. The twin bedroom has two single beds, a wardrobe and storage areas. The rooms are suitable for 2 adults and 2 children.

The caravan also comprises an open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area, along with a spacious WC and shower room in addition to the en-suite.

We have full central heating and double glazing throughout. The caravan is lovely and warm in the cooler months. There is also a lovely remote controlled, coal effect fire in the lounge for extra heating when you need it for extra comfort.There is a colour TV for the lounge and colour TV for main bedroom, with Freesat fitted to both.

The open plan living area has a corner sofa area and coffee table, a dining table with 4 chairs, and within the kitchen a full size cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, electric kettle, toaster, saucepans, crockery, glasses and cooking utensils all provided.

Outside there is a raised, gated deck area which catches all the sunshine on two sides of the caravan and offers amazing views over the channel to Wales. A table, 4 chairs and 2 loungers are provided. There is also a private, fenced off, gated garden laid to grass with shrubs and pots with a private sheltered patio area.

There is parking for one car to the left hand side of the caravan, with more parking available on site. PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT UNFORTUNATELY YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO CHARGE ANY ELECTRIC VEHICLES ON SITE. THIS IS A NOTIFICATION FROM THE SITE OWNERS.

Duvets, pillows, duvet covers, pillow cases and sheets are supplied. However, you will need to bring your own towels.

This holiday home meets all safety standards and has smoke detectors and carbon monoxide alarms fitted. A fire extinguisher and first aid kit is also provided.

We do welcome well behaved small to medium size dogs, with a maximum of two, but please ask on booking.

We hope you enjoy your stay in our caravan; we have tried to make it as homely and as comfortable as possible as we use it sometimes ourselves.

We live locally so we can provide 24 hour assistance should you need it. We will also meet you at the holiday home when you arrive.

Bookings & Conditions

This caravan is for people that like peace and quiet, most suitable for a quiet breaks for couples and young families.

No smoking please.

No barbecues allowed on the wooden deck please.

A £100 deposit will hold the property for your holiday. .

Full payment must be received 4 weeks prior to the start of your holiday.

BACS payment available when booking confirmed via e-mail. Alternatively, cheque payments will be accepted, but must be cleared before the start of your holiday.

Short break holidays may be available outside school holiday dates - Please inquire.


Location


Our caravan is sited at Home Farm Holiday Centre, just outside the historic harbour town of Watchet.

Home Farm Holiday Centre is a privately owned, quiet and secluded holiday park that's just a 10 minute walk down a path to a private beach with a waterfall and rock pools to explore. On site you will find a lovely heated indoor swimming pool, which can be booked for yourselves. There is a site shop selling the usual necessary items, along with a family friendly pub with beer garden that serves food and drink. There is plenty of space for the children to play and explore, with woods, a play area and fields for them to have fun and run off all their excess energy. There are laundry facilities on site.

The harbour town of Watchet, home to a marina and many local shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants, is only a short distance away.

The Tropiquaria animal and adventure park, is also nearby and is fun for all of the family.

Doniford Farm is very close to Home Farm Holiday Centre. Here you will find a children’s play barn with a little cafe and play equipment, along with small and large animals to look at. There is also a restaurant and farm shop at the farm with a very good menu for food.

Moving a little further away there is historic medieval Dunster Castle and Dunster village itself, with many quaint little shops, pubs and tea rooms. Then onto the Victorian seaside town of Minehead, which has a fabulous beach (dogs only welcome at the far end by the golf course) harbour and again many shops and restaurants with a wonderful central garden area with a band stand with many groups/bands playing music during the summer periods. Butlin's is also located in Minehead, which is open to non-residents, with passes are available at the gate.

Exmoor National Park is a short drive away and there is plenty of exploring to be done in this part of West Somerset; do not miss a drive out to Porlock, Lynton and Lymouth, which offer the most fabulous sea views along the drive through Exmoor.

The famous West Somerset Railway is well worth a visit for a trip on an old steam train. Beautiful Exmoor and the unspoiled Quantock hills are close by and ideal for scenic walks with breathtaking views.

Taunton, the county town of Somerset, is less than an hour away and provides a shopping, cinema, theatre, railway station and an M5 motorway link.
