Caravan Description

Welcome to our 8 berth Willerby Salsa static caravan for hire at Butlin’s Minehead. We have been improving the caravan for the comfort of guests to have a brilliant holiday.

Our Butlin’s Minehead caravan has double glazing, central heating and three bedrooms, one double and two twin, plus a pull-out bed in the living area.

The caravan comprises:


KITCHEN
There are plenty of dinner plates, tea plates, breakfast bowls, mugs, glasses and cutlery for you to use, along with a kettle, toaster, microwave and an air fryer. All we ask is that they are washed/wiped out and clean when you leave, ready for the next guests. There is also a freezer, fridge, gas cooker and plenty of cupboards and shelves to store your food etc. There’s a store cupboard too, with an ironing board and iron. We also keep the kitchen bin in the boiler cupboard.

You will need to bring your own tea towels.


LIVING / DINING AREA
There is wraparound seating that was only recovered last year, and a dining table with wraparound seating and two stools. There’s also a gas fire, coffee table, radio/CD player, 43" Smart TV and a DVD player, plus a few DVDs for all ages available to use. All we ask is that DVDs are placed back in their cover after being watched. There are a few children's books available if any children fancy a read.


MAIN BEDROOM
Double bed (with pillows and quilt), a mirror, 3 door wardrobe with drawers and some corner shelves, plus a hairdryer. Under the bed is a travel cot and a clothes airer.


TWIN BEDROOMS
Both have twin beds with pillows and quilts, a half wardrobe with hanging rail and bottom shelf, along with a few clothes hangers.

Unfortunately we cannot provide beds made up on arrival but we can provide the bedding for you to make the beds up yourselves.


SHOWER ROOM
Good size shower cubicle, hand basin and toilet, plus hooks on the back of the door to hang your bath towel/clothes.


SECOND TOILET
With toilet and hand basin.

You will need to bring your own towels.

OUTSIDE
We have a large decked area with gate to keep any children safe. There is a picnic bench on the decking and a small patio lounge set.

There is a parking space for one car. Any additional cars must be parked in the large car park near the entrance.

There is no smoking or vaping in the caravan, but an ashtray is provided for smoking outside only. If there are any burn marks on the decking you will be charged to replace the board.


FAMILY BREAKS
We provide 2 adult and 2 child entertainment passes (under 2s are free). Any extra passes are available at a charge. Please note that Butlin’s class age 15 years and over as an adult.
We require a damage bond of £100 per family break. This will be returned to you within 7 days as long as my cleaner confirms there is no loss, damage and/or breakages to the caravan, or the need for an excessive clean.


ADULT WEEKENDS
We only allow 6 adults for these weekends and we do provide 6 passes.

We will require a damage bond of £150 per adult break. This will be returned to you within 7 days as long as my cleaner confirms there is no loss, damage and/or breakages to the caravan, or the need for an excessive clean.

A £50 DEPOSIT WILL SECURE ALL BOOKINGS.

NB: there is a £10 admin fee from Butlins on all bookings that is payable by you.


BUTLIN’S RESORT, MINEHEAD
Activities on the park include fairground rides; a swimming pool with water slides, high speed flumes - and don't forget, a toddlers’ pool; fun football for all ages; soft play area; bungee trampolines; archery; painting; ten-pin bowling; pool tables; daytime and night time shows including, The Masked Singer, Stephen Mulhern's Beyond Belief, Peppa Pig’s Circus, Animals vs Dinosaurs, and plenty more.

There are plenty of options to eat out.

OUT & ABOUT
There is a lovely sandy beach right opposite Butlin’s Resort Minehead, where children can run, play and build sand castles all day.
Locally you can stroll up to Minehead town with its various shops and places to enjoy a nice meal. You can also take a ride on the steam train from Minehead town.

Dunster Castle is a nice place to visit too, with its terraced gardens and subtropical plants.
