Caravan Description

We have for hire, our 2022 holiday caravan located at Lakeside Caravan Village on Butlin’s Resort in Minehead, Somerset.

Our holiday caravan was new 2022 and offers 2 washrooms, 3 bedrooms and a pull-out double bed in the living area, allowing it to sleep up to 8 people.

In the first bathroom there’s a shower, toilet and basin, while the second has a toilet and basin.

The main bedroom has a double bed, double wardrobe with hangers, a 22” colour TV and a hairdryer. The second and third bedrooms each have two single beds and a single wardrobe with hangers.

In the living area, there’s a 43” TV, a DVD player (bring your own DVDs) and a pull-out double bed.

The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a microwave/combi oven, a nice size fridge/freezer, a cooker, toaster and the usual saucepans, plates, cups, cutlery, etc.

We also provide two window airers, an indoor clothes airer, pegs, an iron and an ironing board.

Our hire price includes wristbands for up to six people - 3 adults (15+ years) and 3 children on off peak breaks and up to 8 people - 4 adults (15+ years) and 4 children on our peak breaks.

Beds will be made up ready for your arrival. All we ask is that you put the strip the beds that you have used please. The dirty bedding can be left in the bedrooms.

We don’t provide towels, a bath mat or washing up materials, so please bring your own.

Bookings

Our caravan is available for the following:

4 night breaks from Monday to Friday - term time only
3, 4 and 7 night breaks – during school holidays.
Due to an Adult Only Break falling at the beginning of the October half term, we will only be offering a 4 night break, Monday to Friday and a 3 night break Friday to Monday.
To secure your booking we ask for a non-refundable deposit of £50 for the 3 and 4 night breaks and a non-refundable deposit of £100 for the 7 night breaks. The outstanding balance must be paid 8 weeks prior to your stay.
We also charge a £50 refundable damage bond for the 3 and 4 night breaks and a £100 refundable damage bond for the 7 night breaks. The family break damage bonds are charged on top of our 2024 advertised prices but is now included in our 2025 advertised prices. This damage bond will be returned to you after your stay as long as the caravan is left in good condition.
BIG WEEKENDERS NOW AVAILABLE! A £200 refundable damage bond is charged on these breaks and is an additional charge on top of our advertised prices.
Check-in is at 4pm on the day of your arrival and the caravan must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure.
Earlier check-in times from 1pm are available but there is a charge for this.

All park facilities are available for your use whilst staying in our holiday caravan, but wristbands must be worn/shown. These facilities are just a short walk away from the caravan.

Location

Lakeside Caravan Village is within Butlin’s Resort in Minehead, Somerset. The Resort offers plenty of facilities on site and being our guest, you will have access to all bars, restaurants, swimming, entertainment in all venues (Reds, Skyline Pavilion, Centre Stage, Studio 36), funfair, etc.

Alongside Lakeside Caravan Village, there is ‘The Highwayman’ pub. Fishing is allowed on the lake, but you do need to own a fishing licence. There's also a convenience store and a launderette by Lakeside Caravan Village. A larger convenience store is situated in the Skyline Pavilion.

The beach and town are within walking distance, as are the supermarkets (Tesco, Morrisons and Lidl). Also in the town you will find a Co-op, Poundland, Iceland, amusement arcades, gift shops and pubs - at the top of the town there's a Wetherspoons.

If you're a train enthusiast or just want to take in the sights, there's a steam railway just as you enter Minehead town centre.

Dunster Castle and Dunster Village are a short drive away from Butlin’s Resort.
