Caravan Description

Family owned, spacious 3 Bedroom, 8 berth Swift Bordeaux holiday caravan for hire on Burnham on Sea Holiday Village in Somerset, complete with secure gated decking and allocated parking.

This Deluxe Silver holiday caravan, sited on Have’s fun-packed, yet peaceful Burnham on Sea Holiday Village, is located in Elm Grove, which is situated between the fishing lakes* (1 minute walk) and main Park complex (2 minute walk), and also just a short walk from the seafront esplanade with pier and beach (5 minute walk).

Our fully equipped caravan benefits from double glazing and central heating and is ideal for that comfortable home from home experience. It comprises:

Sleeping Accommodation

Master Double Bedroom – with double bed, bedside tables with side lamps for bedside lighting, fitted double wardrobe with bottom drawers (hangers provided), fitted wall cabinets for extra guest storage, dressing table with mirror, plus hairdryer for our guests use,

Twin Bedrooms 1 & 2 – each with two single beds, side table with side lamp for bedside lighting, fitted single wardrobe (hangers provided), fitted wall cabinets for extra guest storage, vanity shelf with wall hung mirror.

A double pull-out sofa bed is available in the lounge. A travel cot is also available. Duvets and pillows are supplied for each bed (not including the travel cot). Bed linen is not included. However, for a small extra change bed linen can be provided and beds made up ready for your arrival. Guests may also bring their own bed linen.

Bathrooms

Bathroom - with a walk-in double shower, wash basin with wall hung mirror above.

Separate toilet with hand basin and wall hung mirror above.

Guests are to bring their own towels. No toiletries are provided, except for hand wash. We aim to keep a stocked supply of toilet rolls on hand for our guests’ arrival

Living Area

The very spacious, open living area comprises of the lounge and fully equipped kitchen/diner.

Kitchen - with cooker, grill/hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee machine and fully equipped with all general cooking equipment, utensils, dinnerware, crockery, glasses and cutlery. Stocked tea, coffee, sugar canisters are provided. There is also a secure, child safe, cleaning cupboard that is re stocked regularly - we aim to hold most cleaning materials that may be required during your stay. An iron and small ironing board is provided.

Dining Area - table and chairs that is a combination of corner seating and stools. A boiler cupboard it located within this area.

Lounge – with large corner sofa (pulls out as a double sofa bed), electric fire, 42" Smart TV/DVD player with family DVDs provided, plus a small selection of games and books. Please feel free to take books home to finish reading and keep. There’s also a large, secure mirror. A table lamp and lanterns situated on the sideboard creates a warm welcoming ambience after dusk.

Outside

Outside we have a secure, gated and raised decking area to the front and side, with outdoor lounge furniture and table and chairs provided. It also has its own lawn and patio area with BBQ and outdoor children's toys. A numbered allocated parking space is located at the front of the caravan.

Additional Information

Play passes to gain access to the on-site facilities and entertainment are NOT included within our hire cost, but they can be purchased direct from Haven one month prior to your check-in date. These may be booked online via the link provided in the booking confirmation we will send you. We recommend that passes are purchased in advance and not on arrival date, to enable you to secure booking slots for the indoor swimming pool or any other on-site activities you may want to book which are subject to availability. You do not need to book entry into the club entertainments in advance.

Please note that you are not under any obligation to purchase play passes and use the on-site entertainment and facilities.

General Terms & Conditions

NO pets, NO smoking, NO vaping and NO charging of electric vehicles permitted.

NO same sex groups or parties aged 21 and under allowed.

All of the above are in line with Haven’s rules and regulations. All bookings follow Haven’s general terms and conditions and these must also to be adhered to at all times.

We reserve the right to cancel your booking with immediate effect and without refund if any of our or Haven’s general terms and conditions are not adhered to.

Details required when booking: full name, mobile number, email address and home address of lead guest; full name and mobile number of any additional adults within the booking; age of all children within the booking (names of children not required); car registrations of all cars within the party that will be on site.

All staying guests must be detailed on the booking. We must be notified of any changes to the initial booking. No one other than those detailed within the booking are permitted to stay and the number of staying guests must not exceed the maximum berth of our caravan, which is 8 persons max - this number includes adults and children. If any additional guests are found to be staying, we reserve the right to cancel your booking with immediate effect and without refund.

Booking Conditions

To secure any booking date a £100 deposit is required, along with booking details stated above.

The full balance is required no later than 8 weeks prior to the check-in date. If the booking is being made less than 8 weeks prior to check-in, payment must be made in full at the time of booking.

In addition to the holiday total, a refundable £100 respect and care bond is required, again to be paid to the terms detailed above. This respect and care bond will be refunded after satisfactory inspection following your departure. Missing or damaged items or any need for excessive cleaning could mean the partial or full loss of this care and respect bond.

If you cancel your holiday for any reason up to 8 weeks prior to the check-in date, your £100 deposit will be refunded. If you cancel your holiday for any reason within 8 weeks of the check-in date, no refund will be given on the deposit. Any refunds on additional monies paid up to that date will be at owner’s discretion. We will attempt to re-sell the holiday in order to refund.

Prices quoted are subject to change. Booking with a deposit will secure both the date and price up to 8 weeks prior to the check-in date, when the full balance is required.

Check-in after 2pm. Check-out by 10am.

Out & About

Burnham on Sea is a Victorian seaside town, with sandy golden beaches that stretch for 7 miles from Burnham on Sea to Brean Down. It has an esplanade, which holds Britain's smallest pier with arcade, children's merry go rounds, ice creams and doughnuts. The seafront and adjacent High Street have many gift shops, tea rooms, coffee shops, fish and chip shops, ice cream parlours, restaurants and pubs to visit. There is also a Ritz cinema that has 3 screens, as well as a local theatre and arts gallery.

There are gardens to visit too and right next to the holiday park is the 42 acre Apex Park, which can be accessed via the main road to the front of the holiday park. Alternatively, if you take the rear holiday park exit you will begin the walk at the end of the esplanade and through the marsh nature reserve, alongside the mouth of the tidal River Parrett.

Burnham on Sea is a prime location from which to explore further as it is surrounded by many beautiful towns, cities and areas of outstanding beauty. Areas of interest within very reasonable driving distance include Brean, Wells, Glastonbury, Cheddar, Weston Super Mare, Clevedon, Bristol and Bath to name just a few.

Many attractions to visit include National Trust Brean Down, Brean Leisure Park, Brean Splash Waterpark, Animal Farm Adventure Park, Wells Cathedral, Glastonbury Tor, Somerset levels, Cheddar Gorge & Caves, Weston Pier, National Trust Sand Point, Clevedon, Exmoor National Park, Exeter National Park and so much more.

After being in the area for the past 4 years, we have discovered many free and cheap attractions for the children and many areas of outstanding beauty - please feel free to enquire with me about further places of interest.

Most of the big supermarkets are located with a 5 minute drive of the holiday park and Haven do allow home deliveries. Tesco, Asda, Lidl and Aldi, as well as many smaller Co-ops, are all within a 5 minutes drive.
