Caravan Description
This lovely, dog friendly caravan is situated in an elevated position overlooking the sea from the front window, and from the side decking area. There is a window seat in the living room where you can sit and enjoy the view.
There are two bedrooms. The spacious double bedroom has plenty of storage space, and there is a twin bedded room with a small wardrobe, overhead cupboards and bedside cabinet. The large living area has two settees, one of which converts into a double bed.
The spacious shower room has access from the hall or from the double bedroom. Either door can be kept locked if you wish.
The kitchen is well equipped with full size cooker, fridge freezer, microwave, toaster, and all necessary crockery and cookware. There is also an iron and small ironing board for your use.
The caravan park is now open for 11 months of the year.
The comfortable living accommodation includes a dining table and chairs, settees, coffee table and a TV/DVD player.
Wi-Fi is provided and is free to use.
The caravan has double glazing and there is built in electric heating in the bedrooms, controlled by a switch near the bed in the double room, making it easy to adjust the heating ready for when you get up in the morning. There is also an electric fire and heater in the living room, and a radiator, with a timer, in the hall, making it warm and cosy at all times. Electricity is included in the cost of the caravan.
Hand towels are provided as standard. Bed linen and bath towels can be supplied for an additional cost of £25. This is optional - you may bring your own if you wish.
Dogs are always welcome free of charge.
Outside there is a gated side decking area with patio furniture and a garden bench at the front of the caravan.

About the Area
On the site there is an indoor swimming pool, fitness suite, nature trail, children's playground and a launderette. There is also a newly refurbished, dog friendly café with an extensive menu.During school holidays, a temporary membership pass is required to access the site pool, fitness suite, steam room and sauna. This costs £55 per week for up to 6 guests and entitles you to unlimited uses. Outside of school holidays, you can use the facilities on a pay as you go basis if you wish.
As we have to purchase the pass on your behalf, please let us know at the time of booking whether or not you require one.
The popular West Somerset Steam Railway passes along the rear of the caravan park, and the station is a short walk away.
Walk outside the front of the holiday park and you will find yourself on Blue Anchor seafront. This is totally unspoilt, with the only buildings being one café, and two pub/restaurants.
When the tide is in there are usually several people fishing. At other times you can walk along the sand and shingle beach towards Minehead to the West or towards Watchet to the East. The beach is very popular with fossil hunters, and dogs are welcome on the beach all year.
From Blue Anchor a short drive will take you to Exmoor or the Quantock Hills, with unlimited walks and amazing scenery. There are plenty of country pubs and tea gardens to be enjoyed, and lots of places of interest to visit, including the village of Dunster with it's medieval castle and the picturesque villages of Selworthy and Bossington. The seaside towns of Minehead, and Lynton and Lynmouth are a short drive away.
Sea fishing is available from the harbour at nearby Watchet or Minehead, and there are several horse riding stables within easy reach.
During the Summer months there is a large, and very popular car boot sale held on fields adjoining the caravan park.
