Caravan Description

For hire is our residential caravan for up to 4 people, that is set in secluded, natural surroundings just behind the infamous Culloden Battlefield in Inverness.

It provides a great space for children to run around and/or for the adults to relax, have a BBQ and rest in the beautiful surroundings (though BBQ will be subject to weather conditions - if too dry and threat of fire risk, they won't be permitted).

Our caravan in Inverness, offers solitude and relaxation and is great for bird watching and spotting other wildlife.

Fresh and spacious static caravan with a fully fitted kitchen, double bedroom, twin bedroom with two single beds, spacious living room, dining table and a shower room that is separate from the toilet.

In the living room is a gas fire which is manually operated. There is electric heating in each bedroom and in the shower room. All linen is provided.

The kitchen is fitted with a gas hob, oven, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, filter coffee machine, a set of pans, plates, glasses and mugs. Coffee, tea, sugar and some milk are provided.

There is Wi-Fi but the strength of the connection can vary.

The private garden space has a large wooden table with chairs, BBQ and a firepit (use of which will be subject to weather conditions at time). Guests need provide their own charcoal for the BBQ and wood for the firepit. The large garden overlooks a plum, apple and damson orchard and an enclosure with hens at the bottom of the garden.

Children have access to a trampoline close to their caravan. There is also opportunity for them to use the giant trampoline next to the main house if they choose.

The caravan is situated away from main house separated by a stretch of forest so that guests feel they are very much in their own space.

There is free parking on the premises.



Things to note

A gravel pathway leads about 15 metres from your car to the caravan and there are four steps leading to the entrance. This is a rural spot so a car is highly recommended. Though there is an active, regular bus service 10 mins walk away at the famous Culloden Battlefield which goes into Inverness town centre, for optimum travel a car is best.


Location

Situated only 6 miles from the local town and offering plenty to see and do, as well as Loch Ness which is only 20 minutes’ drive away.

Many local sites of interest include-

* Clava Cairns with lovely forest walks
* Nairn beach just a twenty minute drive
* Findhorn beach & community approx. 30 minutes away
*The famous Loch Ness
* A multitude of original cafes & restaurants
* Five minute walk around the corner is The Culloden Moor Inn where you can stop for a pub lunch or a drink.
* Isle of Skye is around a 3.5 hour drive but possible to do in one round trip if you are looking for a long day out

You won't be at a loss for beautiful sites to see and things to do and if you just wish to relax on the grounds, it's an ideal spot to rest and decompress!!
