Our mobile home for sale on River Valley Country Park in Penzance, Cornwall, is a 2017, 32' x12' ABI Élan, with modern furniture, fittings and fixtures.

The lounge of our mobile home for sale in Cornwall, looks out through French doors to the large decking area and the picturesque landscape and River Hayle beyond. Within the lounge is a very comfortable L shaped double sofa, a coffee table and 32" flat screen TV with Freeview. There is also an electric coal effect fire to supplement the full gas fired central heating, for those occasional chilly evenings.

The kitchen area is adjacent to the lounge, allowing conversations to continue whilst preparing meals. It is fully equipped and includes a full size gas oven/hob, microwave oven, full sized fridge/freezer and the usual cooking equipment, tools, cutlery and crockery.

Opposite the kitchen area is an attractive table for 4 with Shaker style chairs.

The main double bedroom has a king sized bed, bedside lamps, a double wardrobe and dressing table, along with an en-suite with toilet and basin. There is a further separate shower room and toilet. The second bedroom has two single beds and a wardrobe. The sofa bed in the lounge has a pull-out double bed too.

The caravan is served by the usual utilities, including piped gas (no more gas bottles), electric, water, drainage and cable superfast broadband. Being in a secluded valley the regional cellphone signal is not great, but BT are soon to roll out digital telephoning which will be available via broadband.

There are eCar charging points available around the park.

Current site fees are included to the end of 2024.

Location

River Valley Country Park is an ideal base from which to explore the beautiful county of Cornwall - we are sure you will enjoy every minute. It is just 5 miles from St. Michael's Mount and 6 miles from Penzance, with all amenities there, including supermarkets, restaurants, many attractions and shops.

The Park is set in a secluded 23 acre, partially wooded area of the beautiful river valley, far away from traffic. The air is fresh and healthy (dusting inside is rarely needed). The only noises are from birds and the babbling river.

River Valley Country Park has won a David Bellamy Gold Award for conservation and the site is maintained to a very high standard, whilst keeping many wild spaces to support wildlife; rabbits can be seen grazing and many species of bird can be seen, as well as other small creatures.

We believe our River Valley Country Park caravan for sale is situated in one of the best spots in the park, next to a bend in the river.

The Park itself has a small launderette. There is no pool or clubhouse on the site, being suited for those who prefer quiet, tranquil surroundings.

River Valley Country Park and surroundings will appeal to those who want a peaceful holiday. Children are safe playing on their bikes etc. plus there is a very large field for dog exercising.

The neighbouring village of Goldsithney has 2 excellent village pubs and a well-stocked shop. There is also a Co-op supermarket on the main road at Rosudgeon.

There are many places of interest to visit in the area, including beautiful beaches and coves. St. Erth village is 4 miles away and is accessible by foot along the river path; there you can take one of most scenic train rides in the country to St. Ives, with its quaint shops and restaurants.

Worth a visit is the ancient village at Chysauster with its iron age courtyard houses.

These are just a few of the many places to explore in West Cornwall.
