Our holiday chalet is located on Sundowner Holiday Park, which is situated in the Norfolk coastal village of Hemsby; a traditional family seaside holiday resort, which has been a favourite with families all over the UK for over 100 years. Sundowner Holiday Park is a well-maintained, family orientated park, yet still offers peace and tranquillity if preferred.
Our holiday chalet is situated in a particularly pleasant part of the park with car parking very close by. The holiday chalet is furnished to a high standard which we do try to maintain, and benefits from double glazed windows throughout. It is well maintained, clean and comes with everything to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.
The accommodation comprises of a lounge, kitchen area, bathroom and two bedrooms. The lounge has a comfortable sitting and dining area and is well furnished, to include an armchair and settee (not bed settee), LCD Freeview TV and DVD player, fitted carpet and electric heating.
The fully equipped, modern kitchen includes an electric cooker, fridge, microwave oven, kettle, toaster and all the cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils you should need for your self-catering holiday.
The tiled bathroom consists of a full-size bath with electric shower over, a WC and wash basin. Constant hot water is provided by an immersion heater.
There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds. Each bedroom has a fitted wardrobe and carpet. Pillows and duvets are supplied, but please bring your own duvet covers, pillow cases, sheets and towels etc.
Electrical appliances supplied for your use are regularly PAT tested for electrical safety purposes.
Provided in the chalet are smoke alarms, a fire blanket and fire extinguisher.
Electricity is included in the rental fee.
Bookings & Conditions
Our chalet is strictly non-smoking.
Pets are NOT allowed in the chalet.
The chalet will be available from 3pm on your day of arrival and must be vacated by 10am on your day of departure.
All bookings are from Saturday to Saturday, except early and late season where shorter breaks and alternative changeover days may be available.
A non-refundable deposit of £50 is required to secure your booking, with the balance due 4 weeks before your holiday commences. Failure to make the balance payment will be treated as a cancellation. In the event of any cancellation, the deposit is non-refundable.
A £75 Security Retainer Bond will also be required, which will be refunded following your departure, after the caravan has been checked and no loss, damage and/or breakages have been found, or the need for an excessive clean.
Bookings made within 4 weeks of the start of your holiday will require full payment to be made with the booking.
The chalet must be left clean and tidy on your departure.
Our chalet is only available to families and couples, and sleeps a maximum of 4 persons (including children).
Site rules also prevent us from letting to all male or all female groups, or persons less than 25 years of age. Any unreasonable behaviour during your stay may result in you being asked to leave the site immediately. Should this happen, no refund will be given.

The Sundowner Holiday Park on Newport Road in Hemsby, is just a 15 minute walk from the glorious Hemsby Beach. Just off the Park on Newport Road, you will find many facilities, including a sports bar, Newport club, amusement arcades, chip shop and various clubs that provide evening entertainment (depending on the time of the season).
Nearby Beach Road has first class entertainment and amusements to suit everyone, plus a superb range of facilities including shops, cafés, bars, cabaret venues, bingo, gift shops, food outlets, a funfair and amusements of all types. A wide variety of snacks are available too, with takeaway food bars catering for all tastes.
The Norfolk Broads is only a 15 minute drive away, where there are several boat hire places for a great day out.
