Meadow Crest is a well-equipped and comfortable chalet for hire Burgh Hall Holiday Park near Great Yarmouth in Norfolk
About the Chalet
Meadow Crest is a brick-built, fully double-glazed, single storey, comfortable 2 bedroom chalet, with an open plan living area, oil filled radiator heating throughout and FREE Wi-Fi.
The kitchen has an electric oven, microwave, toaster, cutlery, crockery and a fridge.
In the living area you will find a Smart TV with Freeview, a sofa, armchair, dining table and chairs.
The master bedroom has a comfortable double bed (4’ 6”), built-in wardrobe and bedside cabinets and an electric fan.
The second bedroom has good sized bunk beds (3ft), built-in wardrobe and an electric fan.
Within the bathroom is a shower cubicle, wash basin and toilet, along with a heated towel rail.
Outside and to the rear of Meadow Crest, we have a small patio area with a picnic bench which opens onto a communal grassed area, so you can sit outside while the kids play.
We supply bed linen, but you will need to bring your own towels.
PETS
One small to medium dog is welcome at our chalet on Burgh Hally Holiday Park. Whilst outside of the chalet, dogs MUST be kept on a lead at all times in all areas of the holiday park. Owners MUST also clear up any dog mess - failing to do this will result in you being asked to leave.

About the Area
Burgh Hall Holiday Park is located in Burgh Castle near Great Yarmouth in Norfolk. On site there is a fantastic kids’ play area a launderette (tokens available from Reception 9am to 5 pm).On the Burgh Hall complex next door, there is an outdoor swimming pool and indoor soft play area, both of which are chargeable and need to be booked at the bar and outdoor play area. The family friendly bar and restaurant welcomes holiday makers - they serve excellent food and offer entertainment most weekends.
Out & About
Burgh Hall Park is in the village of Burgh Castle, the site of a Roman fort. Approximately one mile away it is one of the UK’s best preserved Roman sites, not only filled with history but it’s a beautiful place to wander. It has panoramic views across Breydon Water to the mills and marshes beyond, which are teeming with bird life.
Gorleston, less is than a 10-minute drive away, has a huge stretch of sandy beach. It is the perfect place for a traditional family day on the beach. There are amusements, pubs/bars, cafés and restaurants near the beach.
If you prefer something a little busier, you can visit the Golden Mile at Great Yarmouth (10 to 15 minute drive) and experience all the traditional seaside attractions, including the Pleasure Beach fun fair. Thrill seekers are also sure to enjoy a day out at Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park at Lowestoft.
Just along the coast you can go seal spotting at Horsey and Waxham; perfect for seeing seals in their natural habitat.
We are right on the edge of the Norfolk Broads too, which is great for nature reserves, bird watching, day boat hire and many other water activities.
Travel a little further up the coastline to visit areas of designated outstanding natural beauty, including Hunstanton, Wells-next-the-Sea, Blakeney, Sheringham, Cromer and Mundesley.
Whatever you like to do, there's something for you in the area.
