Our modern, south facing chalet for hire on the traditional Bermuda Holiday Park, was newly refurbished for the summer of 2017. It comfortably sleeps up to 4 plus an infant in a travel cot, with the addition of either 1 adult or 2 small children using the sofa bed for a small additional charge.
The chalet has 2 storeys. On the ground floor we have an open plan lounge/diner with a 32” wall-mounted flat screen TV with Freeview, along with a fully equipped modern fitted kitchen area which includes a small fridge-freezer, oven and microwave, plus all the essential cooking equipment you should need to cook your meals. Also on the ground floor is the bathroom which includes an electric shower over a full size bath, a toilet and vanity unit with basin.
On the 1st floor you will find 2 good size bedrooms, both with their beds freshly made up for your arrival. One has a double bed, bedside tables with lamps, an electric heater and built-in wardrobe. The other is a twin, with 2 brand new, full size single beds, a bedside table with lamp, electric heater, chest of drawers and a built-in wardrobe. There is also a smaller flat screen TV with DVD player, plus an Xbox 360 with Kinect and a small selection of games and DVDs.
Having young children ourselves we understand the importance of making the chalet as child friendly as possible so we have fitted stair gates at the bottom and top of the stairs which can be fastened away when not in use. We can also supply you with a travel cot, bed guard and a highchair should you need them. They are free to use but must be requested when booking. We also have a small amount of children's plastic cups, plates, bowls and cutlery in the kitchen to make life easier. As well as a few outdoor toys plus board games for those wetter days.
On arrival you will be greeted with a small welcome pack, which will include everything you will need to make yourself a cup of tea or coffee after your journey (including fresh milk), plus a small snack. Also washing up essentials, which include washing up liquid, a tea towel and a small selection of bathroom toiletries in case you've forgotten anything.
We also provide an information folder full of ideas, leaflets, vouchers and helpful information to make planning your holiday a little easier.
Check-in time is from 3pm and check-out time is by 11am. (on occasion we may be able to arrange for you to check-in slightly earlier)
Please be aware that our chalet is strictly non-smoking and pet free.
Also, we do not accept bookings of all male or all female groups, or where all occupants are under the age of 25 without prior arrangement.
The prices shown in our availability table is for up to 4 adults plus an infant in a free to use travel cot. Additional use of the sofa bed for either 1 adult or 2 small children is an additional £20.
Welcome pack included which contains: hot beverages, milk, bottled water, biscuits, washing up liquid, dish sponge and cloth, tea towel, bin bag, toilet roll, mini shower liquids, soap, wipes, tissues, plus a few other travel essentials should you need them.
Bath towels are not supplied.
All bed linen is included. We only ask you to supply your own bedding for using on the travel cot.
Electric is extra and paid via a coin meter.

A £50 per week non-refundable deposit is needed to secure your booking, this can be payed via bank transfer or PayPal. The remaining balance plus a refundable damage deposit of £75 will be required 28 days before your arrival, this is payable via bank transfer only.

About the Area
Our chalet is situated on Bermuda Holiday Park in Hemsby, which is a traditional family chalet site just a 10 minute walk from the bustling Beach Road and an additional 5 minutes’ walk from the beautiful beach with its golden sand and rolling dunes.On the Park you will find a clubhouse with seasonal evening entertainment (open nightly in peak season and weekends in low season), a large amusement arcade with a mini bowling alley and prize bingo, a shop selling all your essential items and a highly recommended café providing a wide choice of dishes to eat in or take away at very reasonable prices. We also anticipat the re-opening of the on-site indoor swimming pool for the 2021 season, if this is the case we will include pool passes free of charge to all bookings between mid May and mid September, subject to it's availability. Please note the pool will not be available during the 2020 season due to the Covid-19 restrictions.
Access to all these facilities is included in the hire price.
Hemsby is situated 7 miles north of Great Yarmouth and just a few miles away from the stunning Broads National Park. Hemsby is a well-loved holiday resort where you will be spoilt for choice with the wide range of activities on offer, whether its a ride at the fun fair, a round of mini-golf, a few laps at the go-karting tracks, a dip in a swimming pool, a browse around the shops or amusements, a drink or meal at a traditional English pub or a day at the beach, there's something for everyone to enjoy a fun-filled or relaxing holiday.
Just 10 minutes drive down the road you will find the resort of Great Yarmouth with its famous Golden Mile, where indoor and outdoor entertainment venues for all ages line the promenade. It also has a great maritime history and you will find many museums about the history of the town; be sure to take a look at the Medieval town wall, it's one of the best preserved, most complete town walls in England.
With the scenic waterways of the Norfolk Broads on your doorstep with its large variety of rare plants and animals, picturesque towns and villages surrounded by rolling farmland, woods and marshes, it's a perfect location for adventure and relaxation.
