Our names are Margaret and Carl and we would like to welcome you to our information page regarding our new 3 bedroom, double storey chalet on Bermuda Holiday Park in Hemsby.
We are pleased to offer to you our lovely, comfortable and clean holiday chalet in Hemsby, Great Yarmouth for you and your family to spend a relaxing holiday.
Hemsby is a charming seaside resort in Norfolk. It is situated approximately 6 miles from Great Yarmouth and is along one of Britain's most beautiful coastlines with glorious golden sandy beaches.
Very close to Hemsby, you can find historic places, picturesque villages and of course the famous Norfolk Broads. Hemsby is very easily accessible by public transport and by car. This makes our chalet a great base for any type of holiday.
Our chalet is regularly used by family, friends and ourselves, which means it is very carefully monitored.
Our chalet is situated on Bermuda Holiday Park in the Newport area of Hemsby and is well equipped and comfortable; perfect for family holidays.
We offer a personal and friendly service, that we feel will make booking a holiday with us an easy and pleasurable experience. We will be available on your arrival and departure date to deal with any questions you may have.
Included in the price of your holiday is all bed linen, although we do ask you to bring your own tea towels and towels. We also provide travel cots, high chairs, and stair gates free of charge on request.
Our chalet is strictly non smoking and pets are strictly not allowed.
146 Bermuda Holiday Park is our house style, 3 bedroom, double storey chalet conveniently located 5 minutes from the beach. The chalet accommodates up to 8 people (including 2 on a double sofa bed) and 1 baby in a travel cot. The chalet enjoys a sought after position on the holiday park and the Chalet is fronted by large family friendly grass area where the children can play for hours while you relax and enjoy the sunshine.
The accommodation is arranged over 2 floors with the kitchen, lounge with sofa bed and bathroom on the ground floor and 3 bedrooms on the first floor. There is 1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom and 1 bunk bedroom with duvets and pillows provided. The travel cot will fit in either the double or bunk bedroom.
The chalet comes with everything you would expect from modern comfortable living with a newly decorated fully equipped kitchen including cooker, microwave,fridge freezer and washing machine plus a seating area. The newly decorated lounge is comfy with a new corner lounge suite which turns into a double sofa bed plus a LCD Flat screen TV with Freeview and DVD player all built in. New for this season is the XBOX 360 and the many games that we provide. We also provide some books, board games and DVD's for those quieter moments of your holiday.
Also for the younger members of your family we include a travel cot, high chair, bed guards and stair gates to the top and bottom of the stairs-all free of charge.
The large newly decorated bathroom is well equipped and updated for the 2016 season with a new electric shower over the bath and heated towel rail. The living room has newly fitted wooden flooring. All are new improvements made for this year.

About the Area
The Bermuda Holiday Park on Newport Road is a family friendly park just a few minutes walk away from the fabulous golden sandy Hemsby Beach and just a five minute walk from Sundowner and Seadell Holiday Parks.Most of the Chalets on site are privately owned and this helps keep the park such a friendly and enjoyable place to stay.
The Bermuda Holiday Park is the only park in Hemsby that can boast a Heated Indoor Swimming Pool.
On site facilities include a large shop for all your day to day needs which now includes a pound shop, a large amusement arcade that's includes daily bingo and small bowling alley. There is also a large club house with great family entertainment for all, including kids (games, party dances and make and do craft sessions during the early part of the evening.
Also on site there is a heated indoor swimming pool (open Whitsun to mid September), a café,/restaurant offering free kids meals (terms apply) and ample free parking.
Near by the off site facilities on Newport Road include the Sunningdale Sports Bar with pub food, amusement arcades, a general store selling groceries, food and holiday goods, fish and chip takeaway, various family family clubs with family and kids entertainment nightly (some are free and some will charge you an entry fee). There's also a family diner/restaurant.

Hemsby is a traditional seaside destination on the Norfolk coast where you will find some of the most magnificent sandy beaches, Britain has to offer. It is approximately 6 miles from the busier town of Great Yarmouth and just a few miles away from the world renowned Norfolk Broads. There are good transport links with regular buses servicing both Newport Road and Beach Road. National Express offer a direct route to Hemsby in peak season from London Victoria and there are frequent trains services to Great Yarmouth. It is home to a variety of festivals including Rock and Roll festival in May and October, Viking Festival in Mid September and a Herring Festival in September.
Hemsby village has a small shopping parade including a supermarket which is open to late, a post office and gift shop, chemist, hairdressers and Chinese and Pizza Takeaway. You can also visit the local church which holds regular services and dates from the 14th Century. There are plenty of traditional pubs offering quality food and traditional real ales. nearby.
During the main season you will also find regular boot fairs in and around Hemsby, along with a pick your own fruit farm a few minutes drive away. Their is also Hemsby MegaMaze, a maze made out of corn where you can spend an afternoon having a walk around and getting lost. Crabs and Dabs is only a five minute drive away.
Hemsby has much to offer if you want to venture far from your chalet and is a great place for a fantastic British Holiday. There is something for all, young and old couples or families.
