Chalet Description
The chalet sleeps 4, but a z-bed can be provided for an additional person at a cost of £25.
Dogs are welcome. The 1st dog is free. A second dog is £10.
This is a well kept chalet on a popular site near to the beach and the amenities.
The lounge/diner/kitchen of the chalet is open plan.
The kitchen is fitted and has a white wood finish with plenty of storage space. Utensils and crockery are proved, as is a microwave, integrated fridge freezer, vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board, plus a tea towel, dish cloth, washing up liquid and cleaning products. Hot water is provided by a wall heater. The floor is tiled.
The lounge has a three seater sofa with a armchair, plus a pine dining table with chairs. There is also an electric wall heater in the lounge that shows artificial flames, plus a wall-mounted, flat screen TV/DVD with Freeview. In case of a rainy day a selection of DVDs are provided for your use. The floor is laminated.
Bedroom 1 has 2 single beds, a double door wardrobe, a bedside cabinet and a freestanding Dimplex wall heater.
Bedroom 2 has a double bed, storage, bedside cabinets and a Dimplex wall heater.
Duvets, pillows and bed linen is provided. Towels are not included.
The bathroom consists of a walk-in electric shower cubicle, wash basin and separate WC. Provided is: loo roll, cleaning products and mats.
The electric is by card meter – cards are purchased from Club Belle. The unit cost of electricity is determined by the site owner.
The Park is well maintained with large grassed areas surrounding the chalets. Chalet 240 is in the middle of a block of five chalets and to the front of Chalet 240 is a grassed area for children to play or just sit and be!
Chalet 240 is on the edge of the Park, so a bit quieter as the chalet is not en route to anywhere! However, the site's facilities are just a short walk away.
The Park is flat making it easy for young and the young at heart to get around.
Cars are not allowed in front of the chalets as there is a free car park adjacent to the chalet, making it safe for pedestrians.
Provided for your use is a patio set where you can watch the children play, or even eat ‘al-fresco’. There's also chairs for you to take to the beach.
A stair gate is also provided for days when you want the door open, but keep children and dogs safe.
Bookings
A deposit of £75 is required on booking with the final amount payable 28 days before the start of your holiday.
I can also offer a payment plan to help spread the cost. Booking Conditions will be sent out with Booking Form.
The holiday week runs from 2pm Saturday to Saturday, but in school holiday weeks booking in is 3pm.

About the Area
Chalet 240 on Belle Aire Holiday Park in Hemsby, Great Yarmouth is set within 20 acres of well-maintained grounds.The Park has the added bonus of being the nearest site to a very welcoming golden, sandy beach that stretches all along this region of Norfolk.
Hemsby suits a wide range of holiday makers; you can have the ‘busyness’ of Beach Road in the high summer season or the tranquillity of the walks, the Norfolk Broads or visiting wildlife sites nearby - the choice is all yours.
Belle Aire Park is about a 10 minute drive from Great Yarmouth, but a car is not essential as there is a regular and frequent bus service, with a bus stop close to the Park’s site entrance. Trains run to Great Yarmouth as do coaches, some coaches call at Hemsby.
On the park is Club Belle, which is a clubhouse that provides a wide range of entertainment, including cash bingo, cabaret acts, karaoke and fun for the children. The clubhouse opening times depend on the time of season, but is usually from 11am ish to closing. Light meals are also on offer at the clubhouse. Membership is included in your stay. Enjoy!
With children in mind, there is a modern children's play/adventure area to the rear of the clubhouse so you can relax seeing your children play from the club beer gardens and BBQ area.
Out & About
Belle Aire Holiday Park's entrance is on Beach Road, where you will find loads of entertainment, including amusement arcades, bingo, fairground rides and bike hire shops. Within walking distance there is a selection of heated indoor swimming pools.
There is a supermarket to the side of the entrance to the Park for all your provisions and daily papers, as well as a launderette close by. On the eating side, there are take-aways, bakeries, restaurants and of course fish and chip shops close by too.
If you wish to venture further afield there are a whole host of leaflets in the chalet giving you details of what’s on in the area – but as a taster:
Highly recommended is a trip on the Norfolk Broads by boat; this is reasonably priced and so relaxing. Other places of interest include Potter Heigham with it factory shop and marina, Winterton for is sand dunes and must be visited café, plus day trips that can easily be booked on Beach Road in Hemsby .... I could go on and on..
Norfolk has so much to give and you will have a special holiday for sure!
