Our lovely six berth caravan is nestled on the beautiful east Kent coast near to Dymchurch. On a clear day you can even see France from the nearby sea wall, which is right opposite the park. The sandy beach is just a short stroll away, accessed via the sea wall, where can enjoy gift shopping, fish and chips, several pubs and restaurants, a Tesco supermarket and even a mini amusement park.

We decided to call our lovely holiday caravan on New Beach Holiday Park in Dymchurch, Kent, 'Cuthbert' because it sounded fun. Cuthbert the Caravan has central heating throughout, controlled via a thermostat in the hallway.

Our caravan has two bedrooms. The main bedroom has a double bed, lots of wardrobe space and an adjoining 'Jack & Jill' ensuite shower room (including a shower cubicle, wash basin, toilet, cabinet and towel rail). We can also provide a Travel Cot upon request, please ask when booking.

The second bedroom has two single beds, a wardrobe and overhead storage space.

The kitchen is well equipped with gas oven with four-ring hob, a microwave, fridge with small freezer compartment, toaster, kettle, cooking utensils, pots, pans and cutlery.

The lounge area consists of an electric 'flame-effect' fireplace with fan to distribute warn air should the weather turn colder. There’s also plenty of sofa space (incorporating a pull-out double bed), a TV with built-in DVD player and a good selection of family films. You can also sign into your own Netflix account!

During the summer months, the secure outside decking area is a real sun trap where you can sit and enjoy that morning cuppa or a glass of wine in the evening.

Cuthbert is pet friendly so why not bring your dog with you.

Family entertainment passes for all amenities, including the indoor pool, can be obtained from the front desk in Reception. PLEASE NOTE: These are not included in our hire price.

LOCATION
There is lots for families to enjoy at New Beach Holiday Park. The complex has a very large entertainment hall with a programme of events (depending on time of year) and an indoor swimming pool has recently been refurbished. Children can enjoy the 'Crafty Pottery' club and other daytime activities. The Neptune Pub/Carvery is only a short walk from our Caravan and offers a wide varierty of tasty meals.

The entertainment schedule is available throughout the standard holiday season, usually March to October - please check reception for further details. New Beach Holiday Park ask that guests keep traffic noise to a minimum and park vehicles in the main car park located by reception. Please advise reception if you require assistance getting from your vehicle to our caravan.

Nearby, why not take a trip on the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch light railway with varioius stops between Hythe and Dungeness.

The beautiful town of Hythe is also nearby, with plenty of shopping, places to eat and during the summer, you can hire row boats on the Royal Military Canal.

Why not venture to the Folkestone Harbour Arm where you'll find some amazing street food outlets and lovely walks around the old Folkestone railway station.

Test your golfing skills at Cinderella's Crazy Golf - just a short drive away. For the serious golfer, Greatstone Golf Club is 6.5 miles away.

Cuthbert is 8.5 miles from Folkestone Harbour, 8.7 miles from Eurotunnel UK, and 14.3 miles from Ashford Eurostar International. Folkestone Central Station is just over 8 miles away.
