Chalet Description
Chalet 80 is our lovely holiday home to let on Sandown Holiday Park, set in a lovely location overlooking Culver Down and within easy walking distance of a sandy, dog-friendly beach.
Outside Chalet 80 on Sandown Holiday Park, is a lovely grassy area for children to play. A bistro table and chairs are outside the front door where you can sit and view Culver Down whilst having a morning cuppa.
The front door is a stable type, so you can open it half-way and still enjoy the views whilst keeping children/dogs safely inside.
On entering the front door you’ll find the cosy living room, complete with two settees a Smart TV and a dresser unit, with the under-cupboard having games and books for everyone to use. There is a fold-up dining table and four chairs to use at the side of the living room, along with a wall heater for those chilly evenings. Free, unlimited internet is available.
The living room is open-plan and leads to a fitted, well-equipped kitchen with plenty of cupboard space, a fridge with a small freezer attached, full-sized oven, hob, extractor, iron, ironing board etc.
The shower room has recently been re-fitted with all new fixtures and fittings and a newly tiled floor.
There is a bunk bedroom with cupboard and bedside table, along with a main bedroom with a double bed, wardrobe, side cupboard and bedside table. Both rooms have lamps, bedding and plenty of storage.
The chalet has been recently decorated with a modern, but cosy touch.
Dogs are allowed and must be kept on a lead whilst outside.
Location
Chalet 80 is in a lovely location on Sandown Holiday Park on the beautiful Isle of Wight, overlooking Culver Down and within easy walking distance of a sandy, dog-friendly beach. To access the beach, you can use the coastal path with breathtaking views over Sandown. The opposite direction on the coastal path would lead you up hill to the National Trust's Culver Down and the Yarborough Monument - this can even be seen from the chalet.
The zoo, Dinosaur Museum and Sandham Gardens are all within walking distance and all facing the seafront.
There is a lovely, flat walk into Shanklin along the promenade too.
