CARAVAN DESCRIPTION

Our comfortable modern 2021 Willerby Malton (35 x 12), 2 bedroom holiday home on Sandhills Holiday Park is fully double glazed and centrally heated throughout with radiators in each room.

Our caravan no.W89 is situated on the back row of the park and therefore benefits from open fields behind you (sunsets) and a large grassed area to the front with sea views (sunrises).
The caravan is positioned so that you have so much space around you and you are not surrounded by other caravan's.

The roomy yet comfortable lounge (3m x 3.6m) has one 3 seater and one 2 seater sofa, a coffee table, storage footstool, 50" TV, Bluetooth speaker and sliding patio doors that lead out onto a large decked patio area (4.5m x 2m). These patio doors are a great feature allowing you to extend your living area outdoors. On the patio you will find one 2 seater seat and two single seats, plus a table. Solar lighting is available to enhance your evenings outside. The outside area of the caravan benefits from wrap around decking, which offers some wonderful views of the sea and the Culver Downs.

The kitchen/dining area (3.6m x 2.4m) has a gas oven, grill and 4 ring hob, along with an air fryer, microwave, kettle, toaster, full height fridge freezer and all the pots, pans, utensils and cutlery you will need. There’s also a dining room table and 4 chairs.

Tea, coffee, biscuits and fresh milk will be available for you on arrival.

The caravan can comfortably sleep 4 people (4 people max) and is maintained to the highest standard. All beds will be fully made up for you on arrival.

The main bedroom features a 5'/60" king size bed, a large walk-in wardrobe and a 28" wall-mounted TV and USB charging points included in the wall sockets. All bed linen is provided including pillow and mattress protectors.

The twin bedroom has two 28" small single beds that can be converted into a double if requested in advance, a built-in wardrobe and a wall-mounted 22" TV and USB charging sockets in the wall sockets.

The shower room/toilet has a walk-in shower, WC, sink and heated towel rail.

An iron, ironing board and freestanding tripod rotary washing line are all included for your convenience.

Parking for 1 car is available right alongside the caravan..

Gas, electric, water, Wi-Fi and hire of bed linen is all included in the rental price.

PLEASE NOTE: Towels are NOT provided, so please bring your own for beach and personal use.

BOOKINGS & CONDITIONS

Bookings are generally Saturday to Saturday, although occasionally shorter breaks (3/4 days) may be available - please ask. Please also contact us for possible availability outside of the listed dates.

Please note that a £100 security deposit (per week) will be required to secure your dates. Once we receive your deposit a booking form will be sent to you to complete. Should you cancel prior to the start date the deposit is non refundable. Full payment is required 5 weeks prior to date of arrival.
Assuming there is no damage, breakage or loss during your stay the deposit will be refunded back to the same account that made the original payment normally within 7 days of your departure.

We do not accommodate more than 4 people at any one time or same sex groups ( i.e. Hen or Stag groups) or under 21 groups.

Strictly no smoking allowed and no pets allowed.

Check in is from 4pm onward ( unless previously agreed ).
Check out is before 10am please.

Keys will be available for collection from reception.

All prices quoted DO NOT include ferry crossings. If you need any help with your ferry booking, please let us know. (Sometimes we maybe able to get a discount but not always and not normally in peak school summer holiday periods) but please ask.
Ferry travel would be through Wightlink only as we cannot offer discount through Red Funnel.

LOCATION

Sandhills Holiday Park is located in an ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’. It is set in acres of beautiful countryside overlooking Whitecliff Bay and surrounded by the Culver Downs with its breathtaking views of Sandown Bay and beyond to Shanklin in one direction, and across the Solent with views to the mainland in the other direction.

Sandhills Holiday Park is fortunate enough to have private access to its own beach, which has beautiful flat sand when the tide is out.

Sandhills is a quiet, family-owned site that has a Reception, large shop covering all the essentials, a laundrette, a children's play area and it's own wonderful beach.

The Park is approximately a 5 minute drive from the village of Bembridge where there are a few pub restaurants, a seafood restaurant, a Chinese takeaway and a fish and chip shop, together with a Boots, an excellent butchers, bakery, farm shop, cafe, supermarket with post office and a proper wet fish shop.

In the other direction you are only 10 minutes drive from the centre of Sandown and 15 minutes from Shanklin.

There are at least 7 supermarkets within a 10/15 minute drive from the Park, including Tesco, Aldi, Morrisons, Lidl, Sainsbury's, Co-op and of course a McDonald's and KFC.

Places to see and attractions to visit are too numerous to mention here but very briefly from the Wildlife Animal Sanctuary in Sandown to the Needles Pleasure park in Alum Bay, to Amazon World, Osbourne House, Shanklin Chine, Quarr Abbey and of course Blackgang Chine. Please refer to the guide books and information booklets kept in the caravan for you to use.

The Isle of Wight is a walker’s paradise with so many walks across countryside and coastline to explore and with so many beaches on the island you are really spoilt for choice.

For wildlife and nature lovers keep your eyes peeled and you may see some of the islands Red Squirrel population and even a possible sighting of Britain's largest bird of prey the White Tailed Eagle. Looking out to sea you may even spot some Dolphins particularly off Ventnor or drive over to Newtown for a glimpse of the seals.

There is so much going on all over the island all year round.
