Our 3 bedroom, ABI Focus holiday home accommodation on Sandhills Holiday Park, has been completely refurbished and comes complete with an outside decked area and parking.
Carpets and vinyl flooring have been fitted throughout and all soft furnishings have been re-upholstered with contemporary linen fabrics.
Our holiday home accommodation comprises:
. One double bedroom
. Two twin bedrooms
. One shower room with basin and WC
. One cloakroom with WC and hand basin, brand new boiler.
. Large open plan kitchen/dining/living room, complete with sea views
. Decked seating area, again with sea views
Within the fully fitted kitchen you will find a fridge freezer; small freeze,microwave; full size gas cooker with 4 ring burner; oven and grill; kettle and toaster, plus an extensive range of glassware, cookware, utensils, crockery and kitchen gadgets. A tea towel, dishcloth, scourer and washing up liquid will be provided.
In the dining area we have an IKEA extending dining table and chairs.
Within the lounge is one large, three seat sofa with storage; one large, three seat sofa and occasional tables.
Provided for your entertainment is a Smart TV, DAB radio and CD player, along with an assortment of books, puzzles and games.
Wi-Fi access is available, but limited due to the site’s rural position.
Also provided for your convenience is an iron and ironing board, hairdryer and freestanding tower fan.
Deck furniture includes dining table and chairs and a parasol which can be arranged to suit your needs.
Beach equipment provided, includes a wind break ( which is not permitted by the caravan); parasol, belly boards and beach toys.
Additional Information
The accommodation is centrally heated by a combination boiler, which also provides instant hot water. There is also a gas fire in the main living room should you be unlucky enough to experience any unseasonable weather!
Clean linen is left on each bed . There are mattress and pillow protectors. Towels are not provided, but there is a hand towel in the cloakroom and shower room, and tea towels in the kitchen.
Our comfortable mattresses are protected by hypoallergenic covers and mattress protectors.
Toiletries are not provided, but we do supply antibacterial hand wash and toilet rolls in the bathrooms.

About Us
We are Patrick and Jeni and live 5 minutes away in the village and are on call should there be a problem during your stay. We have a wealth of local knowledge we can share, and we will do our best to make sure you have a memorable holiday. About the Area
Located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Sandhills Holiday Park on the beautiful Isle of Wight, has a cliff top setting with breathtaking, panoramic coastal views. Family run since the 1950s, this tranquil site is aimed at couples and family groups.
On site facilities include:

There are many places of interest locally, along with restaurants, cafés, bars and hidden gems.
To ensure you are able to access your desired attractions we have provided details so that you can book in advance of your stay with us. This list is by no means exhaustive, but will give you a taste of what's on offer locally:
For Adults Only
Mermaid Gin and Vodka Distillery – a must for all discerning gin buffs! Find out how it's made and sample the unique flavours of our locally made spirits. Also enjoy a bite to eat in the boutique style bar.
Rosemary's Vineyard – offering wine tasting, vineyard tours and the Vineleaf Coffee Shop, which provides light bites, paninis and baguettes etc.
Adgestone Vineyard – offering wine tasting and live music throughout the summer.
Bembridge Powerboat Training and Charter - RIB charters, trips and jet ski adventures, plus power boat training. For the adrenaline junkies this might be a fun way to see our shores.
Family Fun
Local beaches are full of rock pools and ledges where you can find crabs and sea horses if you are lucky.
Sally's Riding school - why not try horse riding with a beach trek along the lovely beach at Forelands. Sally's school caters for all ages.
Sandown Zoo - famous for its tigers and situated on Sandown seafront.
Sandown - with its numerous attractions and eateries, which include Dinosaur Isle, a large play park with enormous slides, plus beach bars and cafés galore. The Bandstand is one of our hidden gems and has a great menu for those looking for a restaurant with magnificent sea views. The sandy beach stretches for miles and the town boasts a large pier and many souvenir shops .
Goodleaf Tree Climbing - an award winning family run, recreational tree climbing business designed for adults and children 8 and over; great fun for all the family if you aren't afraid of heights!
Tapnell Farm- great for kids with play areas and get up close and personal with lots of furry friends including wallaby's.
Blackgang Chine - the UK's oldest theme park . This attraction has something for adults and children of all ages.
Robin Hill- this park is set in 88 acres and offers fun and thrills for all the family. Check out all the attractions on their website.
Chocolate Island - situated in Godshill, this is a firm favourite with all chocolate lovers.
Brading Marsh - a protected area for wildlife and many waterfowl and birds of prey nest in the sanctuary.
Historical Sites
Bembridge Windmill - built in the early 1700s and owned by the National Trust, this is the last surviving windmill on the island. Tours are available on request.
Brading Villa – This Roman villa dates back to the Roman occupation; the earliest parts where built in 100 AD and completed in 200 AD. Explore the fascinating history of the Island’s Romans and how they lived - see the villa’s 5 mosaics, which display a variety of subjects indicating the owner’s wealth and education.
Carisbrooke Castle – in the past, this has been a King's prison, a fortress and a royal summer residence. Building started in the 12th century and Charles 1st was imprisoned here in 1648 until his execution in 1649. Steeped in history and offering daily demonstrations of the original 16th century treadwheel well, which is operated by the resident donkeys whose ancestors have been drawing up water in the well-house for hundreds of years.
Osborne House - Osborne is the palatial former holiday home of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert and is an attraction for both history lovers and interior designers alike - the grandeur and opulence is a must see and we highly recommend it.
Local history can be researched at the local Heritage Centre and the local Lifeboat Station is an iconic landmark in the village and well worth a visit.
Local Eateries in Bembridge
Propeller Inn - next to our local airport where you can watch the small aircraft landing whilst alfresco dining, or sit inside the restaurant bar and enjoy the excellent value for money meals on offer. This is the closest pub to Sandhills and a short walk away or 2 minutes in the car.
Framptons – with a central village location, this small intimate restaurant brings you flavours from all around the world, from to amazing nibbles to classic burgers, flat breads and Asian salads
…and not forgetting Barbosa, Culver Haven, The Beach Hut, Tollgate Café and Best Dressed Crab.
Further afield we also recommend The Yarbridge Inn, The Duck, The Pointers Inn, The Garlic Farm, The Bonchurch Inn and Quarr Abbey. Take aways that deliver locally include Eastern Eye Indian food in Sandown.
Transport Links
For those of you who do not travel by car or prefer to use local transport to get around, there is a bus stop at the bottom of the hill which has a regular daily bus service.
Local Taxis can be booked by phone.
The more athletic may wish to join the cycling and walking trails, which lead around the Island and can be accessed at the top of the private slipway leading to the beach.
