Caravan Description
Our caravan is fully equipped with everything needed to make your stay pleasant.
There are three bedrooms, bathroom with full sized shower, kitchen with full size oven, microwave and fridge/freezer and a lounge with separate dining area. In the lounge area there is a flat screen LCD television with freeview and DVD player.
The main bedroom has storage underneath the bed, a double wardrobe and additional storage cupboards over the bed. There is a hairdryer for your use and the vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board are also stored in this bedroom.
The second and third bedrooms have a single cupboard and additional storage over the beds. In one of these rooms there is a roll away bed with wheels and collapsible legs giving the option of having the travel cot in this room or making more room in the bedroom.
There is a gas fire in the lounge and built in electric heaters in each bedroom.
We may be able to offer discounted ferry rates, subject to availability. These are in addition to the rates advertised for the caravan.
Outside there is a grassed area with picnic table.
Our caravan is located at Sandhills Holiday Park, a small family run site in Bembridge on the Isle of Wight. Six people can be accommodated comfortably in the three bedrooms and additionally there is a small double sofa bed in the lounge area. The caravan is fully equipped with everything you need to make your holiday pleasant.

About the Area
Sandhills is situated in a rural position on the eastern coast of this glorious island with views over the English Channel where there are passing liners, yachts and fishing boats. It is on the coastal footpath making it an ideal base for walkers and cyclists and the quiet, private beach is a lovely wide expanse of clean golden sand with rock pools for the children to explore. Refreshments, lunches, ice creams, cream teas etc. can be purchased from either of the two seaside beach cafes.On the Sandhills site there is a self-service shop supplying groceries, beach goods, souvenirs and postcards as well as an off licence and newsagent, which is open 7 days a week from April to the end of September. Also on the site there is a small children’s play area and a launderette.
Next door to the site is the Whitecliff Bay. complex where the Nab Club Bar can be used to enjoy a drink or have a meal.
Locally
The local villages of Bembridge and Sandown are a couple of miles away where you can find a variety of shops, restaurants and takeaway facilities.
Within walking distance of the caravan are three pubs one of which is renowned for its cuisine.
For food shopping there are a number of supermarkets nearby.
