Caravan Description
Our static caravan (STAN 2) offers great value for money for anyone looking for a convenient holiday base in a tranquil, private, rural setting.
It's situated in a secluded corner of our organic market garden estate, with views overlooking green, open fields. There are only two caravans on the site, and each is privately situated.
Long Lane Farm is a fantastic base from which to explore the great beaches, attractions and fabulous countryside of the Isle of Wight. The estate is very conveniently situated just outside Newport, with its shops, restaurants and cinemas and within a 20 minute drive of the great beaches of Ryde, Sandown and Shanklin.
The friendly owners live on site and will be only too happy to recommend some of our favourite parts of the Island and activities to enjoy.
The caravan has one main bedroom with a double bed, a second room with two narrow single beds and the living room can be converted into a double bed for additional sleeping.
There is a fitted galley kitchen and a separate shower room and WC.
The accommodation is not luxurious - but is comfortable and clean. Facilities within include a TV and fridge.
There is a private outside area for al-fresco dining or barbecuing, and open fields on the property for picnics and games.
There's a sauna on site for use at no extra charge, and an unheated plunge pool. There's also a large pond with wooden jetty on which to laze and enjoy the smell of lavender from the nearby lavender farm, the blue skies and the song of birds.
This is a lovely, restful and central location for a great value holiday.
