Lodge Description

We have a beautiful traditional Lodge for holiday hire that is located on the edge of the coast on Shorefield Country Park in Milford on Sea, just a short stroll from the nearest beach.

Our holiday lodge is in a lovely condition and is fully fitted with all mod cons. There are two allocated parking space's a patio to the rear of the property and a large gated Veranda.

It can sleep up to six in three bedrooms: the master bedroom has a double bed and en-suite; the second bedroom is a double and has a separate bathroom with shower and bath; the third is a twin bedded room. All bedrooms have a fitted wardrobe and a dressing table.

We provide the bed linen for you and beds will be made up upon arrival, we also provide you with tea towels, but we do not provide personal towels.

The lounge is very cosy in the winter and light and airy in the summer, with French doors leading out on to the veranda. There is also a patio and patio set at the rear of the property, which is a real sun trap for those sun worshippers.

For your use there are books, board games and a DVD player.

Check in time is 3pm. Check out is before 10am.

Bookings

You are welcome to bring your dogs along for an additional cost £5 per night, plus a £50 refundable deposit in case of damage. Dogs are NOT ALLOWED on the furniture or beds.

Due to site rules we are unable to accept bookings from single sex groups, i.e. stag and hen parties.

We offer lets for 7 days from Friday to Friday.

We DO NOT offer short lets of 3 days. With some exceptions, we may be able to let the Lodge for 4 nights within the Friday to Friday, but NOT during peak periods.

Location

Shorefield Country Park has a clubhouse on site that has offers three separate bars; one hosting a restaurant and bar; one with a bar and entertainment for shows and other events; and the other being a traditional pub style. Also on site is a children's club, ice cream parlour, gym, indoor pool, steam room and Jacuzzi, a beauty salon, tennis courts, five-a-side football, a mini mart, children's safe play area and crazy golf - all set in acres of beautiful land.

In the immediate area, just a short stroll away is the nearest safe beach that also has adequate parking if you prefer to drive - you are never far from other beaches nearby. There’s also the lovely Hamlet of Milford on Sea, with eateries, small local shops, friendly pubs and quantity cafés.

A little further away is Christchurch, the famous town of Lymington and its harbour; a real must to visit. A bit further away is the very cosmopolitan town of Bournemouth with its fabulous sandy beach, plus the tiny though adorable Branscombe beach which is a real must.

Due to its unique location, the New Forest is only a short drive away where you can walk, cycle or just locate one of the many country pubs for a well-earned drink and meal.

There are so many differed places of interest to fulfil all your needs, from small children to adults alike, to complete your holiday - and all is very close by.
