Lodge Description

Welcome to our large, modern, luxury lodge situated in the quiet cul-de-sac of Rosewood on Shorefield Country Park, where we have 2 allocated parking spaces right outside.

There's no through traffic and our lodge is situated right next to the stream, overlooking the large green common. With the woods behind us, you can hear the birdsong.

As you enter our lodge on Shorefield Country Park, the hallway offers is plenty of storage for you to drop off your coats, shoes and shopping. This leads you into the large open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area.

The kitchen has all the appliances you would hope for, including an oven, microwave, full size fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, Nespresso coffee machine, milk frother, kettle, toaster, iron and ironing board. There is a large L-shaped sofa and coffee table in the lounge, along with a 72" Smart TV and mood lighting for the TV surround if you wish to use it. There are family games and a range of books to enjoy in the drawers under the TV too. The dining area, which seats 6, is in front of the double patio doors, which lead out onto the deck.

The lodge has a very sociable layout, with plenty of space for people to be in different areas, whilst still enjoying each others company.

There are 3 bedrooms. The main bedroom has a king size bed, TV and en-suite shower room. The two other rooms are both twin bedded. There is wardrobe storage in each of the three bedrooms. In addition to the en-suite, there is a separate, family shower room with toilet and basin. All towels are provided and there are laundry baskets in the main bathroom. We also have a travel cot should you need one, which fits in the main bedroom.

Outside, there is a huge wraparound deck and also a private garden to the rear of the lodge. There is a large outdoor dining table with parasol and chairs on the front deck area and alternate seating areas to the side. The lodge is situated right next to the steam with a small bridge, and the running water can be heard from the front deck. The view from the front of the lodge is across the steam to the large green common, giving a wonderful feeling of space and peace. It's a lovely private spot.

If you wish to use the facilities at the park, we can arrange for discounted passes for you. We don't include as them as standard as some of our guests don't require them. However, passes will be required if you wish to use any of the leisure facilities, including the restaurants, bars and entertainment area.
