Lodge Description

This luxurious 40' x 20' lodge is situated on Highfield Grange Holiday Park in Clacton-on-Sea. We have used this lodge since new as our own holiday home, and this is our first venture into renting.

It has been lovingly looked after, and as well as double glazing and gas central heating, it has two dedicated parking spaces immediately outside; a huge advantage when the park is busy at peak periods.

The lodge is located on a large corner plot in a quiet area of the park, yet is only a 2/3 minute walk from the clubhouse, restaurant, bar, amusements and swimming pools.

The spacious lounge/dining area includes a reclining 3-seat sofa with matching storage footstool, a very comfortable 3-seat leather sofa, a colour TV with Freeview, a new DVD player with a selection of DVDs, a dining table and 4 chairs.

The fully stocked kitchen includes a washing machine, dishwasher, gas cooker/hob, microwave oven, fridge and freezer.

As well as a family bathroom with overhead shower, the master double bedroom has an en-suite shower room. The second bedroom has twin beds and both bedrooms have a large walk-in wardrobe.

An electric oscillating fan is provided, as well as a hairdryer, iron and ironing board.

Sliding patio doors lead to the large wrap-around decking area, which is ideal for relaxing in the sun as it has its own glass topped table and 4 chairs.

Bookings & Conditions

A deposit of £100 is required, to secure your date. This will then be used as your security bond, which will be refunded on a satisfactory inspection at the end of your stay.

Check-in is available from 3pm. Check out is no later than 10am.

* Entertainment passes are not included in our rental price, but can be purchased from Reception. These will allow access to the pools and water flume, as well as evening entertainment at the Clubhouse.

It is advisable to book in advance for activities and swimming sessions.



Location

Highfield Grange Holiday Park is an action-packed holiday park situated only a 10 minute drive from Clacton on Sea’s many lovely beaches, seafront and historic Pier.

Facilities on site include: 24 hour security; heated indoor and outdoor pools connected by a swim-through, plus a 200ft water flume; outdoor adventure playground and multi-sports court; amusement arcade; Clubhouse; Boathouse Bar and Restaurant; fish and chip shop; and a Nisa convenience store.

A short 5 minute walk away across the road from the park, is a large Tesco as well as KFC and Pizza Hut. A few minutes further on is a Lidl store, large 24 hour Macdonald's and Smuggler's Cove bar and restaurant.

Nearby there is a choice of public houses, restaurants and takeaways, as well as 2 pharmacies.

There is a bus stop at the park entrance with a frequent service to the town centre and seafront.
