Our beautiful Prestige/ Platinum caravan is situated in the Orchard Bank area of Rockley Park, which is an ideal, quiet position screened on 2 sides by shrubs and small trees, giving a better degree of privacy. However, is only a couple of minutes from the main park facilities.

Rockley Park is a 5 Star Haven resort. Facilities include a private sandy beach, which is very gently shelving so safe for children, with sailing (including instruction) and many water sports available.

The complex has indoor and outdoor heated pools (with flumes), crazy golf, archery, tennis, a climbing wall, children's club and entertainment, fishing lake, amusement arcades, laundry, live entertainment and playground.

Eateries include a fish restaurant (with take-away), Papa John' Pizza, Costa Coffee, bar and BEACHSIDE RESTURANT and a Spar supermarket.

Nature Rockz; a nature trail with tepee.

The complex is served by a local bus and land train to Poole Quay.

The coastline of the complex (Ham Common, which is a S.S.I.) looks out over the upper reaches of Poole harbour, with spectacular views overlooking the Arne Peninsular and the beautiful Purbecks. The Jurassic coast starts here!

Out & About
The Arne Peninsular (RSPB) is directly opposite on the opposite side of the harbour. Famous as used by Spring Watch (BBC) Dartford Warbler, Avocet, Osprey, Spoonbill, White-tailed Eagle ( Britains Biggest bird ) Gold Crest , often in the trees outside van ( Britains smallest bird) All 6 native British reptiles present locally. A Lookout for bird watchers has been constructed within the Rockley complex looking out to Arne.

There are many places to visit in the area, including Corfe and Lulworth Castle, Thomas Hardy's cottage and house, Lawrence of Arabia's cottage, Swanage and its Heritage Railway, the famous Sandbanks, Shell Bay and Studland Beach. Shillingstone restored Victorian heritage Railway Station. Monkey World. Brownsea Island (1st Boy Scouts camp)

Poole has many shops and the quay area, many nice old pubs, Sunseeker boats,; home of LUSH cosmetics. There's also a ferry to the Channel Isles and to France and many events are held in the evening on the quay, with weekly seasonal fireworks, motorbike and vintage car meets and folk dancing. For culture the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra plays at the Lighthouse concert hall.
Our beaches stretch for 15 miles , from Highcliffe in the east to Sandbanks in the west., with all the facilities of an International resort; Awarded No1 for the best free event for its air show in August.

There's also beautiful parks and gardens, entertainment, restaurants of every description, many free events, weekly fireworks during the summer and free children entertainment on the beach and gardens, plus the New Forest and historic Christchurch are only 45 minutes away.

For literary buffs the area is full of connections not only Thomas Hardy but Enid Blyton who stayed at Studland and base here secret seven and famous five adventures on the area, Percy and Mary Shelly (Frankenstein fame) lived in Bournemouth and buried in St Peter's churchyard. Robert Lois Stevenson lived for a while at Skerryvore in Bournemouth and Tolkein often stayed at the Miramar Hotel and lived in Branksome. The Durrell family lived at several houses in Bournemouth before going to Corfu and Gerald Durrell kept animals behind the buildings near St Peters. Tony Hancock's father started Tony acting in St Peter's hall (now demolished) Some of Tolstoy's books were first printed by a Russian exile at Tuckton.

Rockley Park is a 5 star rated park and has been voted by the AA as Britain's Best. Lots of fishing, river, lake (ON SITE) and sea all available locally.

BIKE HIRE Beryl Bikes are available to hire all around the BCP Council area via an app. Pick up from street corners. Look for the turquoise parking bays including outside reception!
