Caravan Description

Welcome to our privately owned, 40’ X 15’ single lodge-style caravan for hire on Oakdene Forest Park in Ringwood.

Certain pets can be accommodated for a small fee but we must be informed at the time of booking and no pets are allowed in the bedrooms.

Our caravan is privately owned and used by family at certain times of the year, so it’s well-equipped to meet all your needs perfectly., It’s not your ‘run-of-the-mill’ caravan, but a 40’ x 15’ single Lodge, so it offers much more space than the smaller ones.

This lodge has two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, double wardrobe, dressing table and lots of space for storage should you require it. It also has an En-suite bathroom containing a bath, over bath shower, toilet and vanity unit. The smaller second bedroom has two single beds, a double wardrobe, dressing table and lots of over-bed storage too.

A second shower and toilet ensures everyone has plenty of space and privacy (giving you more time when you are getting ready to hit the clubhouse), both of which are fueled by a gas combi boiler so you never run out of hot water. Both shouldn’t be used at the same time though, for safety reasons.

The main open plan living area comprises a lounge and kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped and even includes a dishwasher and washing machine. There is no dryer, but there are facilities on site, which are very reasonably priced. Also in the kitchen is a 1000-watt microwave; a gas oven and hob; upright fridge/freezer; a dining table and chairs that seats four; plenty of cupboard space; and cutlery and crockery for six people,

The lounge has L-shaped seating, should it be required a gas fire for those chilly evenings and a nice large TV with most of the Sky channels and Netflix.

There is also BT superfast Wi-Fi, so that should keep everyone happy.

The lounge and kitchen also have lots of USB sockets, so you can keep all your devices charged.

Outside is a wraparound decking with a small table and chairs. To the rear of the lodge is your own private BBQ area with a large table and six comfortable chairs, along with a large parasol to keep off the Oakdene blazing sun !! A gas BBQ is also provided, but we DO NOT supply the gas. It is readily available on site though. There may even be some left by previous visitors, but we can’t promise.

Parking is available for two cars - unlike most caravans on the site that only have one.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:-

A £150 booking deposit is required (non refundable) which is then used as a Security Deposit against damage once you arrive and is then returned within a week, after your stay should everything be left satisfactory as we are sure it will be.

You are renting our Caravan on a self-contained basis, however we do realise that you are on holiday, and cleaning is not really on the agenda, but the caravan must be left in a reasonable condition so as not to affect your DEPOSIT.

As a courtesy, we leave some household cleaning material for your use and also some dishwasher and washing machine tablets, to get you started but you may need to bring extra with you.

Cancellation Policy:- More than one months notice 50% refund, less than one month notice no refund but we will try to re-let the property and any monies received will be returned to you, however if this is a last minute deal you may not get the full amount you paid back.
