Our holiday lodge on the 5* Hoburne Park in Christchurch, Dorset, is sited on high ground affording views over the Park. For us this truly is a home from home environment.
The lodge has two double bedrooms, is double glazed and has gas fired central heating, Bed linen is supplied. It also has a large gated decking area, which is ideal for outdoor relaxation and comes with table and chairs adjacent to the patio doors.
The main bedroom has a king size bed, a large walk-in wardrobe and an en-suite with shower. The second bedroom has two single beds and a large hanging cupboard where you can find an iron and ironing board. Hairdryers are supplied.
In addition to the en-suite there is a family bathroom with bath and overhead shower. We do not supply towels, so please remember to bring them with you.
Within the comfortable lounge area is a 50” TV and a DVD player, along with a dining area with table and chairs for four persons.
The fully equipped kitchen includes an electric cooker and hob; fridge freezer; dishwasher; washing machine; microwave and a slow cooker.
There is parking for one car adjacent to the lodge, with further parking nearby.
Bookings & Conditions
We require an initial refundable deposit at the time of booking of £200 which will secure your reservation; this will be treated as a security deposit against major damage. Full payment must be received eight weeks prior to the booked date: please do not deduct the security deposit from your remittance.
The deposit will not be refunded if cancellation is made later then 7 days prior to occupation date.
The deposit is fully refundable within one week following the holiday, providing no loss/damage is found on inspection. Please have peace of mind that minor breakages of cups, plates, etc. will not impact on the security deposit, all we ask is that you tell us before departure in order that they can be replaced. We ask that you leave the lodge in the condition that you found it.
We only allow families and couples to stay at the lodge - no stag or hen parties are accepted as they will contravene Hoburne regulations.
You may wish to entertain extra family and friends, subject to government and Hoburne Park guidelines in force at the time, but only a maximum of 4 people may stay in the lodge overnight.
We must emphasise that pets are not allowed and any form of smoking in the lodge or decking area is expressly forbidden.
Check in is from 3.00 pm and check out by 10.00 am, unless previously agreed otherwise.
Access to the lodge is by the keys, which will be in the key safe sited on the decking gate post. You will be advised of the key safe access code by text or email prior to the start of your holiday. Upon your departure, please return the keys to the key safe and fully scramble the numbers.
On departure please place all dirty bedding in the bags provided and tie to seal.
Excellent leisure facilities for all ages are available at Hoburne Park, including two heated swimming pools (indoor – all year round, outdoor - summer months only), children's play area, small gym, crazy golf (payable on site), bar and restaurant areas. Family passes are available to purchase through us. These are required for access to the leisure facilities - indoor pool, outdoor pool, gym and The Venue for entertainment plus for the cafe, restaurant & bar. These cost £55 for up to 6 guests for up to 7 nights. An email will be sent to you with a form for completion along with payment details. Payment will be made to Sue Williams, Unrivalled Holiday Homes, who now looks after our home for us. Sue will then apply on your behalf. You cannot purchase passes from the club reception desk directly.
Access to the beach at Steamer Point is just a fifteen minute walk from the lodge; Mudeford Quay is also within walking distance. A local supermarket is much the same walking distance away with Sainsbury’s, Lidl and Aldi about one mile away. There are many other attractions including the New Forest, Bournemouth, Swanage, Durdle Door, Monkey World and Beaulieu.
Also you may consider a trip to the Isle of Wight from Lymington which is just 30 minutes away.
