Our privately owned, Willerby Winchester, 38 x 12 holiday home for hire on Waterside Holiday Park in Devon, is available to rent throughout the year.

It boasts amazing coastal walks and beaches, with its close proximity to the amazing sandy and child friendly beaches, coastal coves and scenic walks.

Dolphins are often seen in the bay within meters of our front door.

Waterside Holiday Park has a clear focus on family fun; you will certainly never be short of things to do.

This spacious holiday accommodation sleeps up to 8 guests and comprises of a master bedroom, two twin bedrooms, a kitchen, living/dining room, shower room with toilets and a separate toilet.

Both twin bedrooms (4 beds) cater for the small and tall guest; all the single beds are 6ft single beds. They are also fitted with ample storage for all of your holiday clothes.

The master bedroom has a full-size double bed with a beautifully comfortable orthopaedic mattress. It also has its own fitted wardrobe, small but compact vanity area and mirror.

There’s also a full-sized double fold-out bed with yet another comfortable mattress for additional sleeping in the living area. My kids like this sleeping area because it has the TV/DVD in the room.

Duvets and pillows for up to 8 people are provided, however, you will need to bring your own duvet covers, pillow cases, towels and toiletries.

The caravan has a large living room area, which is ideal for seating all the family, with a good size floor area for those fun family board games we play when on holiday. The living room also has a couple of much loved, fun bean-bags for those who want to lounge out on the floor rather than on the sofas.

Our home has a fully fitted modern kitchen, comprising of a full length fridge freezer, full size cooker, grill and oven, microwave, toaster, several assorted baking dishes, pans and all the necessary cooking utensils to make your stay feel as if you are truly at a home away from home. There is a separate dining area and breakfast bar.

The caravan boasts a large double power shower and toilet, as well as a separate toilet, to cater for all the family and/or guest party needs.

This beautiful home has a well maintained gated decking area with a table and chairs, so you can enjoy your breakfast, lunch or dinner al-fresco, or even just enjoying a relaxing drink out on the deck at any time throughout the day.

Our home has mains supply for electricity, gas and water, so no need for gas bottles or having to worry about meters running out, this is all included in your rental fee.

For chiller days or just for those cosy nights in, there is an electric fan assisted fire in the living area; the rest of the caravan has gas central heating in all the rooms.

The caravan is fully fitted with double glazing and there is ample parking around the caravan for as many cars as you want to bring.

PETS
We allow pet to stay at our caravan but request that pets are not allowed on the furniture or in the bedrooms. We ask that no more than 2 pets are permitted during your stay. The will be an additional premium of £25.00 per pet per stay.

SECURITY BOND
Unfortunately, we've had to introduce a £50.00 Security Bond as not everyone takes care of our home It's such a shame that a few spoils it for the rest, we try to keep our home in the best condition and things lost or damaged can prove to be costly to repair or replace. However, on the proviso that the caravan is left in good order and with no damage or breakages, the security bond is fully refunded at the end of your stay, that said, in the event that excessive damage is cased that exceed £50.00, if it is found that the damage was deliberate and/or wilful, we will seek full compensation for any repairs required. Whilst we will endeavour to seek a resolution amicably, if this is not achieved, we retain the right to seek compensation via the Small Claims court for which any legal cost incurred.

Booking Notes

• A 20% deposit will be required when booking in order to secure the date you require, (due to the high demand of bookings each year, we are not able to provisionally hold dates). The remaining balance due 8 weeks before your holiday date

• If a booking is cancelled after the 8 week payment date or payment is not paid in full, the 20% booking fee will not be refunded

• If a booking is made with less than 8 weeks before the required dates, full payment will be required at the time of booking.

• If the booking is then cancelled, 20% of the total fee will be retained for any loss of income incurred

• There is however, the option of a Payment Plan (please enquire further if you want to take up this option)

• On final payment, there will be an additional Security Deposit of £30.00 is required. This will be returned to you within 48 hours of booking out, on the proviso that no damage/breakages have been incurred or items stolen from the caravan or the decking.


Location

Our holiday home is ideally situated for easy access to Waterside Holiday Park’s amenities. It is close to the children’s play area (you can watch the children play from the front windows), as well as the on-site pools, the arcade, Smugglers pub and restaurant.

Holiday park facilities include: guests club; amusement arcade; laundrette; grocery shop; Smugglers pub with a restaurant; the Yacht club with nightly entertainment (when in season); takeaway; restaurant; two outdoor heated pools; kids’ club and kid friendly activities.

Some of the park’s entertainment/facilities will require a pass. We do not provide entertainment passes, but these can be purchased from the reception for a small fee if you require them.

If its tranquillity and seclusion you want, approximate 50-75 strides from the front door and walk under the viaduct, the bay vista is before you with uninterrupted views and just over the crest, you’ll find a secluded beach (Devil's Armchair); great for getting away from it all, paddling and kids playing in the rock pools.

However, should you wish to venture off-site and do want to take your car, there is the bus stop which can be seen from our caravan where the No.12 bus can take either take you to Brixham, (the home of Sir Frances Drake’s Golden Hind), or into Paignton and/or Torquay (where there are too many attractions to list) this bus runs approximately every 10 minutes.

For those guests who are of state pension age, you can use your free bus pass.

The Holiday Park is just a short ‘child friendly’ walk to Goodrington Beach and Quay West, which is a popular water slide park. Goodrington beach comprises of 2 sandy beaches with fun loving rock pools for exploring at each end of the beach.

Alternatively, turn left out of the Holiday Park and walk under the Stream Train viaduct to Broadsands beach, it’s less commercial but still boosts a beautiful sandy and child friendly beach.

Nearby is Brixham, here you can book your fishing trip, a ferry ride from Brixham across to Torquay or take a cruise out into the bay during the day or for that romantic evening.

Torquay offers great shopping, with all the main high street brands both within the town centre as well as the normal out of town retail parks.
