Lodge Description

ViTel Lodge on The Bay at Riviera Bay Holiday Park, is our a brand new (2022) lodge, with stunning sea views looking out to Sharkham Point and St Mary’s Bay.

This brand new, luxury, superior lodge features full central heating and double glazing throughout.

The spacious open plan living area, comprising the lounge, kitchen and diner, if fully equipped and includes an integrated fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee machine and double oven with grill/hob and extractor hood. There is also a dishwasher, along with a breakfast island and stools. The washing machine and ironing board is situated in the utility room.

Within the dining and lounge area you will find free standing sofas, a coffee table, fireplace with electric fire, a Smart TV, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth speakers in the lounge ceiling to connect to your desired device to.

Off the lounge, French doors lead to a wraparound decking with stunning sea views.

The master bedroom has a king sized bed, a walk-in dressing room with fitted wardrobes, drawers and a mirrored dressing table, and a wall-mounted TV to enjoy whilst relaxing in bed. The room also contains a spacious en-suite shower room.

The second bedroom has a double bed, a full size wardrobe and drawers, with a mirrored dressing area, along with a TV; perfect viewing from the bed.

Third bedroom has two full size single beds and a mirrored dressing area, along with a double wardrobe and drawers.

All beds are made up prior to your arrival. Bath and hand towels are also included for each individual.

The family bathroom has a full size bath with overhead shower, a sink and toilet, along with plenty of storage. There is also a large mirror with overhead lighting.

Location

Due to the park refurbishment at Riviera Bay, there are no facilities on the Park itself. While you are staying at ViTel Lodge though, you are able to use the facilities on our sister park, Landscove Holiday Park, which is a two minute drive or a two minute walk along the coastal path.

Landscove has indoor and outdoor pools, an amusement arcade, restaurant and clubhouse. Passes for these facilities can be purchased from Landscove Reception.

ViTel Lodge has some stunning views out to St Marys Bay and is only a short walk from Berry Head, along the coastal path, where you will find the Guardhouse Café which serves lovely food and offers the most amazing views of Torbay.

There is a bus service, stopping outside the park, that will take you into Brixham where you can catch a connecting bus to travel anywhere around Torbay.

A short drive away is the famous Paignton Zoo and Splashdown Waterpark. In Torquay there is Babbacombe Model Village, Kents Cavern and Dinosaur Land. If you like a game of crazy golf there is Pirate Golf on Paignton seafront and Jungle Golf in Torquay. If you feel more adventurous you can hire a jet ski from Brixham Harbour.
