Lodge Description

Grove Lodge is a luxury lodge, located in a development of eleven lodges as part of "Riviera Bay Coastal Retreat" (previously Riviera Bay). It is situated in a separate private avenue on the cliff top, enjoying stunning, uninterrupted views over St Mary's Bay and Sharkham Point and has direct access to the South Coast long distance footpath.

St Mary’s beach is close by, one of the most beautiful and unspoiled beaches in the area and can be accessed via a set of steps. Berry Head Nature Reserve and the town of Brixham are within easy walking distance from the property.

The lodge is luxuriously appointed, having undergone a major refurbishment of the living / dining area, kitchen, family bathroom and en- suite and benefits from double glazing, gas central heating and extended glass fronted decked area with outdoor dining, giving one of the best sea views anywhere in South Devon.The accommodation comprises;

• an open plan lounge and dining room, with Freeview TV.
• two bedrooms, the main bedroom with a TV, large walk-in wardrobe and en-suite bathroom with shower. The second bedroom has twin beds and walk-in wardrobe.
• an option of a sofa bed in the lounge increases the sleeping accommodation to 6 people.
• a family bathroom with luxury walk in shower
• a fully fitted kitchen with numerous units, gas hob, built in double oven & grill, built in microwave, dishwasher, washer / drier and “American-style” fridge-freezer.
• open plan layout, linking the lounge, dining area and kitchen, ideal for family living.
• a decked area with patio dining furniture, accessed through patio doors from the lounge

The redevelopment of Riviera Bay Coastal Retreat is now complete and the site is stunning and one of the premier holiday locations in the UK. By the start of 2025 we expect the final phase of the redevelopment to be complete with the construction of a swimming pool and clubhouse/restaurant. Grove Lodge is situated alongside ten other well established lodges in a quiet avenue on the edge of Riviera Bay Coastal Retreat and many of our guests enjoy the tranquility and peace and quiet of the outstanding location of our lodge within the park. Local swimming is available at the public baths in Higher Ranscombe road and also at Shoalstone Outdoor Pool in Brixham, the cost of which is donation only. There is Waterpark Keywest at Goodrington and of course plenty of local beaches and the sea offer further opportunities for bathing.

Gas, electric and bed linen are included, guests are required to bring their own towels. A hairdryer, iron and Ironing board are also provided. Free Wi-Fi is available through VFast Wi-Fi and log in details provided upon confirmation of booking.

The lodge can be booked for a full week or for parts of a week/extended weekend, depending upon availability. To book contact us via telephone or email with the make up of your party, home address, telephone number and car registration details. We will then email you full details of the booking process which will include the request of a small deposit with the balance payable 6 weeks before your booking commences. Our cancellation policy is to refund any money paid in the event of illness or any other reasonable circumstances.
