Caravan Description
Our caravan to rent on North Morte Farm Caravan Park is approximately 6 years old, with gas boiler, central heating, double glazing, a stand-alone fire in the lounge/diner and a TV and radio. There are radiators in all the rooms which ensures the caravan is warm on a cold day.
The kitchen has a microwave, modern gas cooker (with splashback and overhead extractor) and all cooking utensils, pots, pans, glassware, crockery, and kettle.
The shower room has an excellent shower, sink, mirror, cupboards, blind and toilet.
There are two bedrooms. The large bedroom is located at the end of the caravan and is very spacious, with a double bed, bedside units with lamp, a vanity mirror, and shelves plus plenty of cupboard space. The second bedroom has two single beds, which will serve as a double when pushed together, there is also a bedside table and cupboards with shelves.
The dining/kitchen/lounge open plan area has a modern table adjacent to a seating area with two stools. There is a long kitchen surface with cupboards above and below, toaster, kettle, coffee pot, microwave and sink with pull out bin underneath. In the lounge are two sofa seats, TV unit with a TV on top with remote, digital radio, independent fire, free standing coffee table and lamp. You can subscribe to Wi-Fi for your stay which is easy to log on to on your phone.
Outside the decking has 3 comfy outdoor chairs with a coffee table.
There are deckchairs and a wind break under the bed in the main bedroom for use by renters.

About the Area
North Morte Farm Caravan Park is located at Morte hoe in Woolacombe. There is short walk into the village of Mortehoe, the village has two public houses that serve food, a fish and chip shop and the Rockleigh takeaway. There is a bistro on the corner opposite the post office offering accommodation and al la carte food menu. There is also the Farmhouse serving cream teas in the garden. The village also has an interesting museum with a play area.On North Morte Farm Caravan Park there is a green climbing area and swings and mini football pitch (no leather balls) opposite the caravan, but the management of balls is requested (signs). Around the corner is a larger fort climbing area for the older children with slide. The site shop stocks plenty of everything and has takeaway coffees and pastries which are delicious.
Venturing off the park, the walk from North Morte Farm around the coast and up to the lighthouse is amazing and you can see seals on a good day.
Woolacombe is the next resort along the coast from Mortehoe with a beautiful beach and renowned for surfing.
There are plenty of pubs and restaurants in Woolacombe, always wise to book at peak times plus some take aways - fish and chips, Thai food.
Beaches close by include Barricane (famous as the shell beach), Putsborough, and Saunton or you can travel further to Clovelly, Ilfracombe, or Combe Martin.
Further a field there are Lynton and Lynmouth, surrounded by pine forests plus Dartmoor is close by.
