Pet friendly holiday lodge for hire on Haven’s Lakeland Leisure Park, situated in the very quiet Mucklethwaite area of the park, yet just over a 5 minute walk from the main facilities.

Haven’s Lakeland Leisure Park is set in the stunning Lake District. Our plot on Mucklethwaite, has very few cars or holiday makers pass by and is well away from the main facilities of the park to ensure tranquillity, although it is still just over a 5 minute walk from the main facilities.

We are on the edge of the new lake at Mucklethwaite, and being south-east facing, we have full sun most of the day. We are fortunate enough to be located on a plot which is not overlooked to the front (lakeside view) or rear (woodland walk) which allows us a grassed area which we use for sunbathing.

We are just a 2 minute walk from the coastal path and just under a 10 minute walk from the entertainment and amenities. Our location is one of the best on the lake - you certainly won't be disappointed!!

The lodge is fully equipped with everything you will need to make your holiday a true 'home from home' experience.

The lodge has FREE Wi-Fi throughout, so you can easily keep in touch or work away with ease and allow your children to stream and game.

The main bedroom has an en-suite toilet with wash basin and storage for toiletries; a dressing area with wardrobe and dressing table; and a wall-mounted 30" TV.

The second bedroom has twin 3' single beds, a 24" TV, wardrobe and mirror.

The third bedroom has twin 2' 6" single beds, a 24" TV, wardrobe, and mirror.

The main bathroom has a toilet, wash basin, powerful shower and storage for toiletries.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a full oven with separate grill, 5 ring gas hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle, 4 slot toaster, pots, pans, wine glasses, champagne flutes, gin glasses etc.

The lounge has double sliding doors opening onto the fully glazed decking area, where you can soak up those stunning views over the lake and fountain.

Supplied in the caravan is free Wi-Fi, a Smart TV equipped with Netflix, Prime Video and Disney+, along with everything a self-catering holiday needs should the weather turn. You can pair to the TV or Bluetooth speaker to enable you to play your favourite music or radio station.

The matching decking and glazing overlooks the lake and consists of a high quality 4 seater dining table with 4 high back cushioned chairs and a parasol

Bedding included (but please bring your own towels).


Entertainment passes are not included in the price of your stay. They are not needed to stay on the park, just to use facilities such as the pool, nigh time and daytime activities and entertainment. Children under 4 do not require a pass. We can arrange these for you if needed. The prices can be viewed on Haven’s main website as the play passes price vary with off peak and peak times but feel free to contact us for a price for these on any selected dates. We will assist in arranging any passes for a quick and easy check in process for you.

The holiday home boasts beautiful views, whatever the weather. Its proximity to the Lake District provides easy access for exploring villages like Windermere, Coniston, Ambleside, Ulverston and the whole of the Lakes. Wray Castle is a must visit, along with a boat trip across Lake Windermere from Bowness to Ambleside or a visit to Cathedral Cave there is just so much to do and endless days out around the Lake District.
