Our lovely Cosalt Superwarm caravan on Seven Bays Park in St Merryn, Cornwall, has been refurbished for easy breezy coastal getaways.

Seven Bays Holiday Park is easy to get to from both the A30 and A39.

There is a driveway for one car belonging to the caravan, so you don't have to park on the grass.

Redecorated in coastal hues without being kitsch, our caravan is a relaxing space to recharge your batteries. For days spent lazing around the caravan you can chill out on the private decking or flop down on the grassy area where you can enjoy al fresco breakfasts or just soak up the sun with a good book and a glass of something refreshing.

Within the caravan, a new laminate floor has been fitted throughout the living room, dining area and kitchen, which makes it easy to sweep up the sand. The soft carpets in the bedrooms are lovely underfoot in the mornings.

The kitchen is fully equipped with gas hob and oven, fridge, kettle and toaster, along with plenty of crockery, glasses and utensils should you have a night in and want to cook. There is plenty of tasty local produce available at the nearby St Merryn village store or the local farm shop.

We have a shower room with shower and wash basin, along with a separate WC with hand basin.

Bed linen and bathroom towels are included.

Bookings & Conditions

Check in is after 3pm. Check out is by 10.00am. Should you need to be outside of these times, we may be able to help, depending upon other bookings – please ask.

A deposit of 1/3 of the total holiday cost is requested once the booking is confirmed. The balance due 6 weeks prior to the start date (or at the time of booking if within the 6 weeks of the commencement date).

An additional £60 key and damage deposit will be required, which will be returned after the caravan is inspected following your departure. This is normally returned within 7 days of your departure should everything be found in good order. However, it will be withheld to cover the loss of keys, cleanliness of caravan upon vacation or a wet mattress.

Top Tip: Fridays or Sundays are better for travelling into and out of Cornwall especially in the peak tourist season. Beat the queues and be sat on the beach when everyone else is sat on the A30!

About the Area

Seven Bays Park facilities include a launderette and café with bar, and it is close to some beautiful beaches and coastal walks.

Padstow is just 6 miles away where you can enjoy a meal at one of Rick Stein's famous restaurants or grab a pasty and stroll around the quaint fishing harbour.

Harlyn Beach offers surf lessons and hire, including wetsuits, paddleboards, surfboards etc. Our particular favourite is Hawkers Cove, which is about a 10 minute drive away. This secluded and almost secret beach has a wonderful long stretch of sand, backed by dunes and enough space to never be crowded - even in the height of summer. The car park is run by a farmer and it's a short walk down to the beach from his field. Take plenty of sunscreen and a picnic - you'll want to spend the entire day there. Top Tip: take a barbecue and a blanket, so you can stay on into the evening. Treyarnon, Trevone and Constantine beaches are all within easy reach and have soft sand, clean sea and are lifeguarded by the RNLI in the summer months.

For culture, jump in the car and head to Truro where you can visit the cathedral and the Royal Cornwall Museum.

For art, a trip to Penzance is essential. There you will find Penlee House Gallery and Museum an excellent exhibition of Walter Langley's work is showing until October, called Painting Between the Tides (NB closed on Sundays).
