The 2024 season has now come to an end. We have now posted our 2025 season prices and updated our details for the new caravan (including pictures - please note, these do not show the caravan on our pitch, it will be moved during the winter shut down period and the new decking will also be added). We have already taken a number of bookings so please check the price and availability section and if you have an enquiry or any questions then please feel free to contact us.

Situated at the 'bay end' of the park, 5 minutes walk from some of Cornwall's finest sandy beaches. Pitch 78 is located just behind the holiday park's own 'Bay View' caravans in a nice quiet part of the park and though you would not describe it as 'sea view' you certainly do get the odd glimpses of the sea from the caravan and decking area

For the 2025 season we are delighted to offer a brand new 2024 12ft wide two bedroom Atlas Mirage 5 caravan with 'Luxury' and 'Winter' packs which includes double glazing, central heating and a very high specification. It will also have a large enclosed PVC decking area which will be constructed over the winter when the caravan is moved onto our pitch (picture of a similar deck is shown for reference only). The caravan is a six berth with a fold down double sofa bed, but having two bedrooms it is more suited to four people (adults plus children) which it can accommodate comfortably. We feel it is not suitable for more people (particularly four adults) plus all of their associated luggage so have decided to restrict our bookings to a maximum of four persons and our prices are therefore based on up to four people staying.

The accommodation includes: 1 double bedroom with double bed, wardrobe, radiator, overhead cupboards and shelves, a dressing table with mirror, two power points and stool (a hair dryer is also provided); 1 twin bedroom with two single beds, radiator, wardrobe, mirror and power point

The fully equipped kitchen includes a gas hob, electric grill, electric fan assisted oven, radiator, five power points (two with USB sockets), integrated microwave, fridge with small separate 3-star freezer compartment, kettle, toaster and coffee/espesso maker. We provide enough cutlery, crockery and glassware for six people (at least 6 or 8 of everything), there are also ample kitchen utensils, pots, pans etc. We use the caravan ourselves so really have tried to provide everything you may need..........we even provide a steam iron, ironing board and airer for your convenience.

The large open plan lounge and dining area includes a table with two benches and a stool, two power points, radiator, comfy 'L' shape sofa seating area, coffee table, a log effect electric fan assisted fire with remote control, 32" HD TV with Freeview channels + built-in DVD player and DAB radio.

In the shower room is a large shower cubicle with sliding door, radiator, extractor fan, mirror, wash basin and toilet.

All of the beds have mattress protectors and pillow protectors. We provide duvets and pillows (8 pillows in total) for the double bed and both single beds, you will need to bring your own duvet covers, bottom sheets, pillow cases, towels, tea towels and a bath/shower mat is recommended.

The caravan has a fully integrated safety system with two carbon monoxide alarms, smoke alarm, heat alarm, dry powder fire extinguisher and fire blanket.

Outside there is a large fenced-in PVC decking area with gate. A patio table, four patio chairs, a parasol and a full size charcoal BBQ are all provided for you. Car parking is available next to the caravan.
Charging of electric vehicles is unfortunately not possible from the caravan (the power outage is not sufficient) and there are currently no charging points available on the holiday park - the nearest charging points are at Tesco in Padstow (about 4 miles away)

Free clubhouse passes are issued on arrival. All electricity, gas and water are included in the price. Swimming pool passes can be purchased from reception for a small fee. On- site Wi-Fi is only available in the clubhouse, some of the holiday park's own caravans and a small amount of private caravans. Further coverage is currently being reviewed but is currently not available in our caravan. Most of the local pubs and restaurants do however offer free Wi-Fi to customers

A 20% holding deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your holiday. The full balance plus a £60 key deposit is due 28 days before your holiday. The key deposit is to cover minor accidental damage, loss of a key or cleaning/soiling rectification and will be refunded within 7 days of your departure provided that the caravan is left in a clean, undamaged state. A vacuum and cleaning products are provided for this purpose.

Please note: all payments made to us are non-refundable in the event of a cancellation by you.
In the event of unforseen circumstances we reserve the right to cancel any booking at any time without notice and to refund to you any payment we have received. We accept no liability for any subsequent loss (financial or otherwise) and no compensation will be given.

Only the person or persons named on the booking form may stay in the caravan, any changes must be agreed by us in writing before your holiday. The booking is for the person or persons named on the booking form and is not transferable to any third party.

We will accept payment by cheque or electronic bank transfer.

About the Area

Harlyn Sands holiday park is a friendly family orientated park with all of the facilities you need for a great Cornish holiday. Situated at Trevose head Harlyn Bay Padstow on the beautiful north Atlantic coast of Cornwall, it has some of the most spectacular views and coastline you will find anywhere in the UK. A few minutes walk from the park and our caravan is the Cornish coastal path, which follows the Atlantic coastline all around Devon and Cornwall. There are several nearby sandy beaches that are known locally as "the seven bays" (most are RNLI life-guarded in the summer) and include the award winning Harlyn Bay which offers excellent surfing and also boasts a surf school, cafe and various pop-up fast food outlets (high season only), Booby's Bay (for great sea angling and also for the more experienced surfers! ), Constantine Bay, Boat Bay (which joins up with Harlyn Bay at low tide and is also the nearest to the holiday park) and the charming Mother Ivey's Bay (pictured above) where the Padstow offshore RNLI lifeboat is based and where you will find another fishing hot spot from "the Spike"

The nearby village of St Merryn (about a mile from the holiday park) has some great take-aways: Spring House Chinese take away (highly recommended), Fryer Tuck's Fish and chip shop which also has a seated eat-in area and the Cornish arms pub operates an outdoor wood fired Pizza take-away (high season only) located by the car park. There is a petrol station (which also sells lots of hardware, BBQ, angling and camping equipment etc) and behind this is a vehicle repair garage with MOT facilities. There is a Spar general store with plenty of fresh local produce and a huge walk-in beer/wine cellar, Malcolm Barnecutt bakery, a coffee shop, surfing supplies shop, veterinary surgery, Rafferty's cafe wine bar with it's A'La carte menu, Crafthouse eat-in and take-away gourmet burger restaurant/bar and last but not least there are two good family/dog friendly pubs which both serve good food and Sunday roasts etc: The Farmers Arms in the village and Rick Stein's 'Cornish Arms' just down the road towards Padstow which serves great food and is well worth a visit and highly recommended.

The nearest large supermarket is Tesco ( where you will also find the nearest electric car charging points and nearest cash point machine) situated on the outskirts of Padstow (about 4 miles away). In Padstow you will find a quaint mixture of shops, pubs, cafes, art galleries, gift shops, high-end fashion stores and restaurants all nestling around the bustling harbour (there is also a nearby Boots Pharmacy and a post office). From the Harbour is a water taxi across to nearby Rock, pleasure boat cruises, speed boat rides and fishing boat day trips are also all available from here. Padstow is also the starting point of the 17 mile 'Camel Trail' with cycle hire available from the South Quay where you will also find the Lobster Hatchery (tours available) and Rick Steins shellfish Bar and Fish and Chip Shop with eat-in restaurant. If eating out is your thing then you are spoilt for choice with many great pubs, bars and restaurants catering for all budgets. From pizza and fish and chips to fine dining at Michelin star winning establishments such as: Paul Ainsworth at Number 6 (middle St Padstow) or Rick Steins famous Seafood Restaurant (Padstow Harbour).

The lively surfing resort of Newquay with it’s Zoo and Blue Reef Sea Life Aquarium has many attractions and is 8 miles away. The Eden Project is around 16 miles away near St Austell and Flambards Amusement Park which boasts many famous rides is 40 miles away at Helston.

Trevose Golf Club and Restaurant with its 9 and 18 hole courses is located across the road from the holiday park near Constantine and the Pig Boutique Hotel with its fine dining restaurant and outdoor (under cover) "Lobster shed" patio dining area (highly recommended) is a few minutes walk away at the end of Lighthouse Road.

Harlyn Sands has many amenities on site including a well stocked shop that sells all the basics plus daily deliveries of fresh pasties and pastries during high season, launderette, kids playground, clubhouse with a stage and dance floor, pool tables and arcade, restaurant and bar, take-away for fish and chips, burgers etc, Sunday carvery, kids club, adults and children's entertainment including live music, weekly karaoke and Bingo, indoor swimming pool with slide and splash pool (small fee applies).

Please note: the park is family orientated and does not accommodate all male, all female or young mixed parties (sorry - park rules).
