'Our home away from home’ is a 2 bedroom caravan that has spectacular sea views of Crantock Beach, centrally positioned on Crantock Beach Holiday Park.
Our caravan for hire on Crantock Beach Holiday Park is a 2016, ABI Oakley, 36ft x12ft, luxury caravan benefitting from full gas central heating and double glazing throughout.
The master bedroom is furnished with a really comfortable king size bed with overhead cabinets, 2 double mirrored wardrobes with shelves and a vanity unit with stool. It also benefits from an en-suite with toilet and wash basin. The second bedroom comprises of a double bed with overhead storage, a bedside cabinet and a small wardrobe.
The family bathroom has a large walk-in power shower, wash basin, toilet and tall storage cupboard.
Our holiday home benefits from a large open plan living, dining and kitchen area.
The kitchen is fitted with a tall fridge freezer, gas oven, microwave, electric kettle and toaster. There is also a coffee machine for you to enjoy should you wish!
The dining area has a table with corner cushioned seat and 2 stools.
The spacious lounge area offers a large fitted corner sofa and there is a 42” flat screen TV.
Entrance to the caravan is up 3 wide steps and through a gate onto a secured, L-shaped decking area which runs the length of the caravan. Tucked away in the corner is a patio set with seat cushions to sit and soak up the spectacular views out across Crantock beach and the Gannel.
Directly outside the caravan is a private tarmac parking area.
Well behaved dogs are welcome £50 per dog per week maximum 2 dogs.
Bookings are Friday to Friday and a £100 refundable housekeeping bond is payable with each booking. This bond will be refunded following your departure, as long as no loss, damage and/or breakages are found or the need or an excessive clean.
Location
Crantock Beach Holiday Park provides direct access to the beach, being just a short walk away. The beach is wonderfully sandy and patrolled by RNLI life guards in peak season. Just beware of the falling sand dunes and please listen to RNLI advice.
The facilities on the park include a shop, laundrette, bar, chippy take away, amusement machines, children's play area and a nature reserve. No passes are needed.
Dogs are also catered for in the form of a large dog walking field where they can be exercised off lead. Please note that dogs must be kept on lead at all other times in public areas while on site. Dogs are also allowed in the Wavecrest Bar as no dog should be left unsupervised in the caravan.
Crantock village is just a few minutes’ walk from the park and boasts two amazing pubs, a fantastic pizzeria and a well-stocked shop and post office. There’s also seasonal pop-up crafts in the memorial hall and the village is often hosting local events and live music evenings.
The South West Coastal Path runs along the back of the beach, giving ample choice for walkers, with Polly Joke & Holywell Bay to the west and Newquay with Fistral Beach to the east. A cute daytime ferry also runs across the Gannel with access to the Fern Pit Cafe which does sensational fresh crab sandwiches!
